my tapo app freezes every 6pm everyday consistently. i have to swipe monitor to bring it back to live view. although it has alert sound when motion is detected. Could it be the window hours when some people trying to invade phones. COuld it be true of the rumor that chinese app creators put a spyware to sneak in your phone otherwise what could be the reason why it freezes

If your camera has internet access you can access recordings and view realtime in the app from anywhere you want.

You can. But in that case to access live view of the camera, you’ll need the camera and the phone with the tapo app to be connected to another phone’s hotspot all the time.

Yes. But if you will only be able to access recordings by taking out the memory card and read it on a computer OR view recordings in the app when the camera gets back online.
