simple shoemaking: Part Two: How to Make Twobees with a channel, toe protector and couched tongue 

These are twobees with extra features. I designed these simple shoes to be made and worn in areas where children - and adults - are exposed to parasitic diseases through their bare feet. These shoes have motorcycle or wide bicycle inner tube soling, and leather or fabric uppers. The only other things needed to make them are a sewing machine or other screwdriver with 1/8" wide tip for making stitching slits, a big-eye-blunt-tipped sewing needle, and sturdy thick thread. However, they can be made in any size and worn anywhere! This is the simplest way to become a shoemaker, and there are many ways to embellish the uppers to make your twobees unique!
