I have been using the zeppelin bend to connect rope of the same size for some time now. I have seen some tests done on this and knot and not only is it really strong, you an put a loot of stress on the rope and it will still untie easily. It works great with string. 👍
Another nice job. Maybe add applications for use and cautionary notes (one of which you did give e.g. dressing and cinching) and or applications to avoid. If the knot is not dressed and cinched and a fast and heavy load is applied the nylon running through the x may (or may not) generate enough heat to damage the rope for current and or future applications. It’s really great that you are getting more and more detailed in your presentations. Keep it up. I’m betting a lot of possible users are being taught by you. One possible video might be on keeping a length of 7mm cordage with a carabiner on your belt while you are learning knots. It’s really great to have it right there whether you are at work or at home and have a spare minute to practice. Also, that cordage and biner might be useful during the day.
