I do a little bit of both, if I can grow them I prefer to but sometimes I need to work with herbs that I either can't grow due to whatever reason. Those I typically buy from a natural market up the way form me. But I do prefer to grow my herbs because I feel it gives more power to them while working! I'll be sure to add it to the list of videos!

I think the best way for these to be impactful is to make them in your own way! So whatever you have on had and whatever way you find to work should prove to be the most beneficial or well at least that is what I have come to find in my practice! I hope it worked out for you!

I find it more effective to put it under the pillow

Personally I don't work very much with astrological energy beyond lunar energy so I'm sorry if everything I have to say is something that you are already well aware of but personally I like to align my spellwork with the lunar phases because I think that offers some very powerful influence and just learned about how each phase can impact spellwork and learning to work within those bounds can be a very powerful astrological connection but personally I think incorporating astrology is typically along the lines of working during certain times the correspond with the positions of plants and so on but I'm sure there are other ways beyond that but for me I just tend to align my workings with the phases of the moon that is most beneficial for what I am trying to achieve. Sorry if that was nothing helpful or new if there is anything else you what help with please just let me know and thank you so much you are very kind

No ruby you do not have to use crystals. You can substitute a symbol drawn on paper that represents the energy of the crystal. Example a pink heart for the rose quartz.

Honestly I think that's something that has to be felt out for everyone - some people can have a bag last a lifetime others it's only going to work for a few months or even not at all and there are a couple of reasons for this - I think the most important part of creating the bags is to make sure the ingredients are resinating with the issues you, or the person you make them for, are facing. So I'd say a perfectly formulated one should last a lifetime but if something is off or needs tweaking it may have a shorter lifespan. However other times the energies in the bags can get clouded - especially if they are blocking or dealing with a lot of negative energies like for example lets say the person begins having nightmares again that may be a sign that another bag should be created because the energies are clouded especially if the bag was working perfectly before hand. It's really something that has to be felt out with each individual but typically I would say they have a pretty long lifespan of at least a few years because getting a perfect formulation is pretty difficult to achieve plus after after a while the energies do tend to get a little clouded. Now if you included crystals in the bag you can cleanse these and sometimes that does help and there are tons of ways to do that and a quick google search will reveal how that all works but cleansing the energies of the crystals every couple of months can lengthen the lifespan of a bag as well

The bag allows you to smell the herbs. A jar doesn't let the herbs air out.
