nanda doc , you can sketch with watercolor pencils in the colors you’ll be painting with. They’ll disappear as you add water and paint.

VIVIANA MIERES I’m doing great, thanks! I think Covid saved my life bc I had a high fever and abd pain. Went to er and it turned out to be diverticulitis and perforated intestine. But, I caught it early and only spent 5 days in hospital. Please pray for medical staff.. besides covid, they have allot of change in working hours, and nerves are frazzled. Stay safe!

Watching from Green Bay Wisconsin. I started teaching myself watercolor painting just about a year ago when my husband had heart surgery. For the past year, we have spent a lot of time at home waiting for all the complications to be resolved. During this time, i've enjoyed watching my progress. Good day, I am watching from Manila, Philippines. I've always been interested in watercolors and been doing portraits but ever since I found your channel and followed along with your tutorials, I realized how relaxing it is to paint flowers, letting the petals be natural looking, leaving it "perfectly imperfect". Hi Shayda, i am watching you from Denmark. Im a 13 year old girl. I have anxiety and panic attacks. I just found your channel, you have have already helped quite a lot. I used to be very athlethic, and really artsy. But, after my latest foot injury, last summer, I stopped. Everything just became to much, and I just completely melted. I didn't feel safe enough to tell anyone, that I wasn't doing to well. I just disdained myself, from everyone. Until last Christmas, when there was a big blowup, and I was at that point like shutting down. I told my mom (my parents are divorced and have new partners). Ever since I told her, I've been getting better. I've been meaning to pick up a hobby for a while, but was never able to, because it always triggered me, because I'm not actually able to do much fisycly other than walk. But your videos really helped, both take my mind off everything going on in the world, and in my head, but also get me up and stay happy and motivated, to do something. I just want to thank you.

Keep painting honey. Keeping busy with something you love will help your anxiety. Share your feelings with a trusted teacher and friends. Divorce is very hard on kids. My parents divorced too and I was lucky to get a wonderful stepfather I loved dearly. Every time you paint you will learn something new. I wish you all the luck in the world. Hello! I hope your friends and family are doing well. I am from Canada. I am a 20 year old undergrad student. Wait let me change that to 20 year old debt holder. I love water colour because it helps me with depression and anxiety, but I have not been able to paint large pieces of artwork due to lack of supplies. I am collecting everything one colour and sheet of paper at a time. I now have 3 good brushes and stonehenge water colour paper. I just have to collect the paint. I like to fulfill my desire to paint just by watching you paint. I especially loved your three step leaves video because blue and yellow are the 2 colours I have, so I was very pleased by painting all kinds of leaves, as it is good stroke practice. I paint mini flowers in between study breaks.

I’m watching from PA! I’m a CNA, and things are getting pretty rough in my area. We’re being issued just one face mask a week because of the shortage. Hi Shayda very new to watercolour about to try my first painting after finally getting my supplies. I'm from Australia where I'm finding our art/craft supplies are quite expensive but it's essential for my mental health. Due to extreme pain I can no longer do slot of the crafts I love like hand sewn crazy patchwork, embroidery etc , so I thought that watercolour loose painting might be achievable.
