Drain the radiator half. Open the bleed valve screw a little. Remove the plug and then fit the adapter and inject the sealer Close bleed valve Put the plug back in
0:41 does it matter which value you open? I assume this is to make space for the volume coming in from the can? So wouldn’t it be more important to open the out value? Or does it not matter
Clever marketing ploy to make people buy an extra bottle because they got the contents everywhere but except inside the radiator 😂,here’s what you need to do..open radiator nut that goes into the valve and drain at least the amount of water that’s in that can first and then add the contents to the radiator
because this video is BULLSHIT story! radiators have about 1.5bar of pressure, this Fernox is not able to push water to circulate while is injected, so when you remove it i bet it will leak.
Video is too ideal and not fully clear. I did exactly as said and when replacing empty can with blending valve, sealant got out from the radiator before I was able to put a valve inside. Need to do it again but I am not sure how and i am not happy with instruction at all.
it's LOGICAL. basic physics that this video totally ignored. you MUST somehow bleed radiator for the same amount as inside that bottle. otherwise it will always spill.
No! Open & close rad. valve's in the sequence described and the added volume is taken up by the system, including the pressure tank. This all worked out perfectly for me.
