Times are hard especially with daunting high rent prices in many places especially if you're single and looking for one bedroom apartments. Having roommates will definitely bring the cost down but at some point you'll eventually want your own place. You'll have to decide if your budget allows you to rent a studio, one bedroom apartment, or buy a house. Many will tell you to not exceed 28 percent of gross income on housing. Most of the time hitting that 28 percent is not a good idea.

Watching your podcasts/videos have made me more aware with my surroundings. Also, reading philosophy books and self care books. My journey has been a year long. I feel so grateful to have added a routine in my life. It has really taught me what’s important to me....btw I’m graduating this year and already got accepted into college while being a illegal immigrant in the U.S.
They are not entirely wrong. Those things won't solve 100% your problems. But if you have nothing, having some of that would solve a good amount of your problems
Maybe you should pay attention to those people, as they are the ones who have achieved success and realised that it doesn't in fact give them fulfilment. Most of the "rich guys" you refer to were struggling at some point, they weren't just born rich and entitled.

There are plenty of other good universities around the globe. I haven't paid that much to go to university, except 100 dollars for the registration process. You go to university to learn, not to worry about money (although this might motivate some people to work harder, to get better results, but those are just bad students in my opinion).

However, after watching your videos, hearing about some of the different struggles, and then this video, I have realized that it can be incredibly difficult to set up an emergency fund that large for some people and that paying off debt is probably the best course of action so you can contribute more to the runway later.

The time after the A-Levels is a time filled with big decisions that will literally change your life. I think that’s the one thing I’ve done correctly so far: I have an emergency fund. I’m working on a retirement fund at 22 years old but blundering through it without really knowing what I’m doing... Getting a credit card however was probably the worst thing I’ve ever done and introduced me to unnecessary debt. Now I have that and student debt. In the type of person who sees I have money and needs to spend it. Tip for those like me: use simple bank. It hides the money you can’t afford to spend so you’re not tempted to spend it 😅

Thankful for videos like these. I got into a car accident at the end of last year and totaled my car. It was sobering for me to realize I royally screwed myself in the savings department with only 200$ in actual savings account, but I have kinda opened my eyes to the world of aiming towards being responsibly debt free. I started last year being debt free but got dumb and went ham on spending for stoopid stuff like a used Mac, new speakers for my tv, etc. This year's major goal is to pay my car loan off in full instead of the 6 year loan they have for me. It's a bit of a mountain, but debt free November is coming. I will also be managing to save money in the process. I don't make a lot of money but I have enough to pay off a newer (used) car within a year so that's something.

We started the late night cookie shop out of a local bagel shop in their off hours at night. We were living in our car in the parking lot of the shop at the time with my boyfriend, Bran.
