Welcome to another lunch video! I'm sharing what I've been packing in my husbands lunch box this past while. He is a construction worker and works oilutdoors all year round. He isn't picky when it comes to lunches and takes a lot of leftovers. I hope this video gives you a few ideas or at least inspires you to pack a lunch from home!

I’m sure Dave appreciates all you do for him and the kiddos! Meal planning can be mundane and challenging. You make good choices!

I do the same thing with my husbands lunch, cold stuff in the fridge in the same spot, and the other stuff in the lunch bag!!! 😂 Hope the kids are having a great summer and you are getting time to relax as well. Great vlog Lindsay!!!

All those lunches looked great-I can't decide which is my favourite. Probably that chicken salad or the chicken wraps. But lots of variety! Sorry for the humid weather-hope it's better now. I live in Ontario and it gets very humid and hot and we have central ac-could not live without it. Once when it broke all of us slept in the basement. We have a daybed and trundle and blew up an air mattress. It was sooo much cooler in the basement and with the dehumidifier it wasn't damp or muggy at all! Anyway, hope it's cooler now-we finally got some cooler weather today

@@lilyelizabeth9080 thanks, Lily. Dave is a pretry easy guy to feed! The humidity is the worst I find, and it's been so humid here! But it's better than it being cold. Our basement is much cooler too, we also keep a dehumidifier down there which makes it nice. They're calling for more regular temps on the weekend here! I love all of the video's you create! Dave's lunches look so good, especially that pasta salad, yum. I love pasta salad but don't make it often because we can never quite finish it up, and I hate to waste it, maybe I just need to make smaller portions. I'm so sorry you had such high heat, we had a lot of high temperatures while we were on vacation, most days in the 90's and in to the 100's, with the temps reaching 112 on our way home, it was disgusting. Stay cool, have fun in the pool and enjoy your summer with the kids. Thanks for sharing Lindsay!

@@TheMtggrl Thanks, Tania. Dave isn't picky with lunches, so makes it easy! We love pasta salad, and Dave loves it in his lunch on a hot day. I have it on the lunch menu for next week too! It's been abnormally hot here all summer so far, temps reaching 40°C some days. Hard to feel motivated to do much, especially in the humidity! But better than it being a cold summer! Our pool is getting lots of use! I hope you're having a relaxing week at home after travelling!, 😊

Hi Lindsay 👋 😊 Great lunches for Dave. It's been disgustingly hot and muggy here also. We don't have ac either, just fans. It's cooler downstairs. As I come back upstairs it feels like I'm walking into a sauna lol. Been barbecuing a lot and having salads. It's been a damp hot Summer so far. Makes me wish it was Fall lol. This weather drains me. Stay hydrated and enjoy your pool. 😊

@@canadiankabingurl9782 Hi Dyann, I feel ya with the humidity!! It's very draining! When Dave comes home from work, he can barely keep his eyes open! We've been doing a lot of simple suppers too! I haven't used my oven in a while now, I miss making bread! Our downstairs is cooler too, but makes upstairs feel that much worse... The heat hits you like a wall I find!! Lol back to seasonal temps next week for here!! I can't wait! I hope you're managing to stay cool too!! 😊

It’s been so hot here! A good 10-15 degrees hotter than normal! It’s been 105-115…. with the heat index. We thankfully are starting to get back to normal temps the next couple weeks! My kids only have 3 weeks till we go back to school….this summer has flew by!!
