I love it! You watch the same videos I do. You and Oxana are both brilliant artists, and have been a huge influence on me, as I’ve been shifting my focus from mainly doing beading to mainly doing wire work over this past year. Thanks again!
I watch them both too. I love incorporating wire wrapping in with my bead projects. I only started making jewellery 2 years ago during our first lockdown here in the UK. It all started when I took a broken necklace apart and made some earings out of it and it's just gone on from there. I'm nearly 50 and now wish I started years ago. 😁
@@annas-g166 I’m in the UK as well! I do a lot of jewellery making as well as crochet and knitting. I like to do wire wrapping and bead weaving. I started doing these crafts seriously back around 2015, the year I turned 50 as well 😂 I did do bead weaving on a loom when I was a child, but it took a long time before I returned to the craft. Like you, I really wish I would have started sooner.
Duuuuuude 😂 u are def my new fave!! Thank you for the comedic relief! My shit nevvvvver comes out the way other ppls do. Intuitive pieces work better for me…but yeah ideas from others definitely help as I’m just starting out
I've been watching Matt for a year, at least. Last week is the 1st wire wrap I've ever done. Three months ago I got stones from his auction, just looking at them has been enjoyable, but it was great to see the necklace I made!
What you say about learning your own way from watching others is how I’ve learned from you. I learned what chances to take with the wire, what it will do and being bolder about just doing it. I did a cool random one today that I actually like. Thanks Matt!
I do my own thing too, but I learn a lot from Matt that helps me solve the problems I couldn't solve myself. I watch this channel more than any of the others because it's so entertaining and there's wisdom here as well.
Matt, You have a style that works with me about wiring. No need to stress it when other people wire their beads differently. You have a gift that you are sharing with your viewers. I like your style, simple yet beautiful. 😊❤❤❤❤
You made me spit out my drink Matt! 😂 😂😂 Your videos are so entertaining and educational and give me so much inspiration!!! But oxygen crafts!!! Baahaha 😂OxyContin crafts Oxford crafts Omgeee I was busting a gut!!! Hahaha 😂 Oxana is really awesome But you are wayyy more entertaining!!! Love it!!! Thank You again!!!
Hahahaha how many words begin with Ox? Oh it's Oxford ok. Lol made me laugh so much. You're always so funny yet mad at the same time. I love it. Designs are really good lol even if it is like an insect. We've all been there.
Some people like informal and spontaneous, some like things more formal. I like both so I do both. It was very refreshing and liberating to find your channel and start doing it your(my) way. Keep it coming!
Hi Matt, I just watched this video twice and it will be my first piece. This looks do-able so I put it in my watch later collection. I'm working on my confidence and I'm ready to try. Today is the day...I have your Etsy page in my tabs and love looking at them for future reference material. Watched your live chat last night and tried to tell you that I'd like to have your old ring mandrell. Thanks for always responding to my comments. I think you're awesome...
Just started wrapping cabachons ever since you started auctioning them-what beautiful stones. Don’t forget to mention this tutorial during one of your live shows -thanks Matt
She'll think its funny. I watch you both, including some others. I try to learn something new every day- when i put it all together i come up with my own stuff with elements of everyone. I just love that.
Ive watched oxana and a few others as well. You don't have to actually use their pattern i kinda incorporate everything that works for me into my weird style like you do. Instead of the twists i use coiled 22 half round. It looks nicer to me.
Your a sneaky one I know just who you were talking about😉🗣 . her or his videos are a bit to advanced for me even if they say for begginers I end up being wasteful and frustrated. You are my hero👍💗 you give such awesome advice on all aspects. I love your stories. Forgive my ramblings 😆
Well, I finally poked myself right in the eye with a wire trying to look at it close up. I'm sure everyone has done something similar. Luckily it seems to be ok but I still can't believe this happened. 😂
that's just too weird I watched her too. I love those cabs they are so pretty. your design came out great, I have the same thing I have trouble trying to do other's tutorials and end up happier when it leads me to do my own thing
Omg 🤣 you are crazy. I love it! You did good! I learned a lot from Oxanna in the beginning! But I learn form every though like I got add or something. I might actually have add but idk and idc. 🤷🏻♀️ she helped me learn a lot about wrapping my cane when I started!
I have a hard time holding all the wires. I have had several surgeries on my hands and wrists. I keep on trying. Keep on trying Matt you will get your own routine down.
Matt, I found some cool colored and shaped rocks in my backyard to start practicing with. They are some brownish reds and some black. So this tutorial will help me i hope. They are smooth but not cabochons. Wish me luck. 🙂
I'm pleased you looked up some tutorials. .Oxana. Crafts is a very good chanel. .. she'll even teach you how to use a ruler... peace and blessings to you and yours. ... RASTAFARI
I watched the same RU-vid and tried that same wrap, and I have a bone yard of wires that look like yours.🤣☠ I like freeform better, but this looks simple enough for me to try again.
Buggeration, knew I’d made a mistake but didn’t immediately edit it. First, that should have been “crotchets” and even more first it should have said “quavers”. 🤦🏻♀️ As the daughter of a professional pianist I’m so ashamed.
whats fun is i was cleaning this desk yesterday seeing all this stuff and going “what the crap is this what is this for what the heck” and THEN i see this video...
