This album is important time capsule of the transition of punk rock with power pop. Some of these songs pop, while others sound punk.

Great album and was a big part of all the fun it was and is when I get to kick it with old friends and play the Beach Bl. Album and Rik L Rik is so cool and the Crowd Cuda my neighbor and friend H.B. miss the whole era. Alot!

Couple dudes I've spoken w/ that were in the band claimed to "not" be directly influenced by the Beach Boys....such a Lie! Nothing ever came close to the brilliance of Brian Wilson, the Ramones were up there tho & these guys were underrated. 🎶

First heared these in the early 80s on the rodney on the roq lps. They got a great sound, different from bands like channel 3, adolescents, and other posh boy bands at the time
