This is a Simplicity Symmetry upright vacuum, (which I believe to be from the late 2000s) model SYMCL.USA (later S20e) upright vacuum that is owned by my workplace to replace their badly worn out Hoover Elite 200 ( • Hoover Elite 200 U4467... ) that I've made a video on. The Symmetry is basically a late model version of the Simplicity 6000 series of vacuums sold years ago which were budget friendly models to their 7000 series which were TOL. This vacuum is the basic model and doesn't have as much high end features like the upscale models do, like this has a plastic molded upper handle, wooden brush roll, no brush roll clutch system, and no headlight, but it's still for the most part the same vacuum. Riccar does make a similar model called the Vibrance which is mostly the same as the Symmetry, but the base is a little bit different in design compared to the Symmetry. This vacuum was used pretty heavily by the previous owner, so it does have some wear marks on it, but the vacuum is still in overall good shape. It features a 10 amp single stage motor with clean air design and takes Riccar/Simplicity type A bags (this example is running genuine HEPA cloth bags that were provided by the previous owner). The suction great on this, but the airflow on this machine is not great, but the agitation is amazing, even for having the base model wooden brush roll wish bristles not as stiff (nor replaceable) compared to the metal one. I really don't have much complaints about this vacuum, other than this not having very high end features, but I know this will make a great replacement for that old Elite 200, which at this point is going to be retired from commercial cleaning mostly since it wasn't commercial grade from the get-go, and parts were getting harder to find to fix it. This is an excellent machine, and it will serve the cleaners well.
