At this point in NBA history. Nikola Jokic is the best offensive player who ever lived. There has never been a player before him, not Magic, not Bird, Lebron, Kobe, Durant nor Jordan who mastered so many dimensions offensively like Jokic. He is the best passer ever, better than Nash or Magic. The variety of passes, the variety of positions from which he passes exceeds both of them. He passes from rebounds in his own half, running the point on fast breaks, from the high post, low post, cross court passes behind the 3 point line that find the shooting pocket of the man in the opposite corner, manipulating the defense with misdrection plays, etc. He adds height and his scoring ability from low/high post, midrange and 3point, which gives him passing options that neither Nash or Magic had. Low post he is as versatile, creative and efficient as Olajuwon or McHale, his midrange is at least as good as Nowitzkis and his 3 point shot is reliably good. He is like one of these absud looking Swiss army knives that has 100 different tools and blades integrated. What makes him so absurdly special is his ability to deploy any option perfectly in any given moment. With so many options decision making can become really difficult but he is a genius. How often does he opt for the best but most simple solution. A pass to a player who has mismatch, a handoff a quick touch pass. To round up his offensive dominance, he is also one of the best screen setters in the NBA and offensive reboiunders.

Jokic might be the best NBA player I have ever seen. He can do it all. He doesn't showboat and try to put up huge numbers but he does it anyway by being a team player. He's as good as a point guard at passing, as good as a forward at shooting and a great center. How can that be stopped? On top of that he rarely even jumps so his odds of getting hurt are small.

I been watching since Bird's first season when he saved the NBA from obscurity. Magic said, there will never be another Larry Bird, he was right, Jokic is even better !!! I mean I fully expect a score, pass or shoot, every time he gets the ball.
