Mick is an Icon! That voice!!! That's real God given talent.

Not only his range, which is amazing, but the pitch control and dynamics. The way he transitions from all-out belting to a softer tone, and then back down to that rich baritone at the start of the 2nd verse . . . damn! As a (mediocre) singer myself, I can understand the difficulty of doing this, even in a studio, but especially in a live performance. Just beautiful. And don't get me started on the excellence of the band!

This is an astonishing vocal performance. The original sung by Russell Thompkins Jr., was sung in falsetto and here Mick Hucknall is singing full head voice, amazing.

ive loved simply red since i was 9 -40y.o. but seriously. there is no way on earth he is not miming here. The vocals are perfect, exactly the same levels, like in a studio. But look at that microphone. Its everywhere, not even held near his mouth half the time.
