You young lady are a true genius! I absolutely love this system that you have come up with.Your cards are very creative and you are a delight to listen to.Thank You so much for all your efforts you put into each card and video. You Make My Day.
As a new card maker, I LOVE THIS... I have saved both sets of flash card templates so I can continue this process, and am working my way through your entire video series. You are AWESOME!!!
It took me a minute or two to catch on (I am a blonde, you know) but I wrote it all down and bingo the light went off. I love your first set of Flash Card videos and can hardly wait to get going with the next set. Love, love, love your videos!!! Thanks Connie for sharing your ideas!! Patti
Wow can't believe you didn't want to try and sell this idea to someone. This is great. I have only just found you, and have made sure to follow you here and on Facebook. I find I go overboard when creating a card. Hours and hours spent creating. I love this idea as now I will use more products and the technics that go with those products. You really should pitch this. My gosh look how project life took off when your concept is for the true crafter. Thank you so much for sharing and I will be making sure everyone I know, knows about you. Have a wonderful life, Deborah Oceanside CA
Thank you, thank you, thank you for this series! I just discovered it about six weeks ago and I LOVE it! My friends and I make cards for the troops to send home to their families (Operation Write Home) or OWH for short. This series makes beautiful cards and allows us to make plenty of them! Thanks again!
Money saving tips Connie. This has streamlined my card making and has encourage me to become creative again. Love this series and wonder if there is a Flash 3.0 in the future. Lol thanks again.
I just watch your video. It was so nice that you got this idea. As for me i got those whole box of scraps that i don't what to do until now. I better start cutting those base on the size of the template you made. Thanks so much.
Thanks again Connie, LOVE the videos they are a HUGE help. This one is not as clear but I think I have it.The colored cardstock is being cut in 8 pieces, think I got lost on the diagram.
Got it! I cut them all out and now I can see how you use them :) to use for Landscape or Portrait modes. Been watching your videos, have many more to go but really like what you do. I already want to make many of them, though I do not have all those nice stamps and dies. The ideas are great.
Your right, and now I will try it again. I was thinking half of 4 1/4 was 2 2/8 and that's where I was going wrong. Like you, I'm not fond of all these 1/8's and I never was good at mathematics :)
Thank you for taking the time to answer. Wouldn't it be simpler if all countries kept to the same size card stock, then we could craft happily without confusion!
Love this but would love to see this altered for the uk a4 size too, could u do that connie because i just love your videos, and the a4 uk size is a little smaller than the us size for a4
Hi Connie thank you for sharing this great information, I do`nt suppose you would do a pdf so I can print it out, would appreciate this very much, Helen
I really like the concept of the flash cards, getting paper ready for making cards quicker. Thanks for sharing this step. Which templates are the correct ones? There are 2 you published, 8/22/12 & 11/14/12. Are you using only one or both when you make these cards? Do I need to cut both sizes? Thank you
Love the flash card concept. A4 is different here in the uk as described in a previous comment. Foes the flascard 2 work with uk paper? I wasted a lot of card with V1, until I remembered the different sizing. Love all your videos.
what are the measurements for A4 cardstock, because in Belgium we cant' order stampin up products en our cardstocks is A4. I really love your tutorials and I'm trying to make your cards with the stamps I have. I really hope SU will come to Belgium soon, cause I really love it all. Can you help me please?
Nancy De Blauwe Size is 8 1/2in (215.9mm) x 11in (279.4mm). Which almost the size of an A4- 210mm x 297 mm. Hope this helps. I have found places in the Netherlands where they sell the 8 1/2 x 11 in paper.
Nancy De Blauwe Oh, also, I found this on Connie's webiste. A metric version of the flash cards: simplysimplestamping.com/metric-flash-cards-flash-cards-2-0/
Its very nice that you have flash cards for each color of paper that Stamping Up makes, but if you can't afford to buy all the paper colors, what do you suggest?
***** What size do these flash cards end up please? I have a Scan n Cut and can get the machine just to cut the pieces out to the correct size! Looking forward to using the flash cards to create al your fabulous cards! Anne
This video has been shared with my Facebook group and… pictures of flash cards I made!!!! facebook.com/groups/3005128029721785/ use scraps! ru-vid.com use scraps!
Love the idea but you talk too fast for me. Hard to catch your concept, had to play it over a couple of times and draw the chart until I understood what you were doing. Like it very much.
