I remember falling in love with this game at 6 years old. I was in the living room and remember hearing "And we'll see you..... Tomorrow Night!!".... still unbelievably cool 28 years later. Any time my better half gives me a hard time about watching baseball, I just tell her "it's Kirby's fault". Thank you and RIP 34.
The 91 world series will go down as the best ever. 2 teams so evenly matched and heroics from so many different twins players it was a absolutely joy to be spectator of.Kirbys 11 innings walk off homer to force game 7 will go down as one of the greatest moments in world series history.RIP KIRBY.

They had better. Nobody has done anything around here in almost 30 years. No World Series appearances, no Stanley Cup Finals appearances, no Super Bowl appearances and no NBA Finals appearances. Not even a Rose Bowl appearance or NCAA Men's Basketball Championship Game appearance.
1991 was a crazy year for Minnesota sports the North Stars made the Stanley Cup Finals and the Twins won the World Series in fact the 90s were the best decade for Minnesota sports as the Vikings made the 1998 NFC Championship we would have won a Stanley Cup in 1999 if the Stars didn't move to Dallas NORM GREEN SUCKS
Aw, they didn’t go into nearly as much detail with the 91 playoffs as they did with the 1987 playoffs. But hey, there’s a 1991 World Series video. I haven’t seen or heard of one for the 1987 world series
Game 6 and game 7 we're two classic games ever played in a world series Kirby was the game 6 hero and Jack Morris was the hero in game 7 he pitched ten scoreless innings Atlanta never found the home plate
Who cares.Lonnie smith took the bait .if he'd been watching he would have realized the ball was deep.twins won because they were the better team.CASE CLOSED
