I mean the fact that there are multiple different Mr. Teenys that have worked for Krusty and died even in the running of the show would explain why you have one mention of his being from Brazil and another of his being from Africa.

I would like to nominate Lenny. He's a pretty good secondary character who rose to more prominence as the show went on, much to the pain of his eye.

For the next Simpsons Histories, how about Rainier Wolfcastle? For a character that could have been a one-off Arnold Schwarzenegger parody, the writers got a surprising amount of use out of him.

Mr. Teeny seemed to show up pretty consistently in early Simpsons Comics even as his show appearances waned. So someone must have been looking out for that handsome devil.

For whatever reason, I always remember that, in the simpsons comic #100, it's established that Mr Teeny is Krusty's agent, and Krusty isn't happy with the royalties he gets from the comics.

Of all the Mr.Teeny lore I was expecting in this video, a Smithers/Burns/Teeny love triangle was definitely not on my bingo card.

One of my favorite moments was when he was released into the wild surrounded by other apes. He nervously tries to light a cigarette, but the alpha ape slaps it out of his hand.

I’ve always thought Teeny’s best moment was saving the Day of the Jackanapes, but I could never think of much else he did. I guess that’s the mark of a “used infrequently in the early seasons but got more jokes out of them in the Scully/teen seasons” Simpsons character. My vote’s still for Lindsay Neagle, since she fits that criteria.

As far as the comeback in season 12, monkeys in general were pretty big as a source of humor in the early 2000s. Monkeys and rapping grandma's had some really high stock at the time

I have to go with Mr. Teeny No.4 as my favorite. I realize that's a pretty cold take at this point, but he really was the one that defined the role and every Teeny since then is still imitating him in some way. Even then no one who's come since has really thrown themselves into the character the the way 4 did. I'll watch behind the scenes footage sometimes and it's clear how much love he had for the show and how much he gave to make it as great as possible.

So happy and surprised to see Mr. Teeny get the spotlight in one of these videos! I love him; I even have a plush of him from Universal Studios(he's very soft and cuddly). There's something so funny and charming about a cigar smoking, rollerskating chimp who loves chocolate ice cream. I like whenever he pops up; really helps Krusty's show feel more fleshed out-like it's not *just* him, there's gotta be secondary players, and a trained animal doing silly tricks definitely helps with the whole circus/variety show vibes. For a Simpsons Mysteries video, an interesting topic to cover could be the mystery of Krusty's clown makeup/real skin color and how it's gone back and forth and back again from "oh it's just makeup" to "it's not makeup". I choose to believe that it's makeup, but perhaps because he wears the makeup so often and it's caked on so thickly, whenever he takes it off sometimes it'll seep through the pores on his skin and resurface, almost like his skin is stained. That's my headcanon at least.

Commendable you keep managing to make these hilarious in depth videos about minor gag characters. Also really shows how the show keeps making use of its minor concepts. I definitely think Mr Teeny is like those other goofy ancilary characters like Prof Frink who managed to find more gags and potential the more wacky bananas (heh) the series got. It says something when Krusty doesn't really treat Mr Teeny any worse than Sideshow Mel and even seems to have a closer relationship with him when not being shifty.

Great work. It’s a little late for this season, but maybe one on Santa’s Little Helper. He’d be interesting because he can time travel. In “Homers Barbershop Quartet” he’s burying the balloon that was the “fake Homers” head in the back yard even though they didn’t own him yet.

I usually want Flanders but rainier wolfcastle is a character I find interesting in how he’s such a specific parody of a real person and yet he makes it work so well.
