At least The Simpsons still shows as much admiration for The Polar Express. Nowadays, it just doesn't get as much love as it truly deserves. It's one of my favorite movies.
As an enthusiastic railfan, mechanical engineer, and former railroad museum volunteer, I can attest that this is more realistic than the actual Polar Express movie.
The polar express does technically exist. When they were designing the polar express for the movie they used the Pere Marquette 1225 steam locomotive for reference. Because of this every year they do polar express train rides. It’s located in owaso MI.
Hey you! Yeah you, do you know what kind of train this is? "Wha-" I said "do you know what kind of train this is?" "Of course, its a magic train" eh I know its a magic train, actually its a Baldwin 2-8-4 S3 class type steam locomotive. Built in 1931 by the Baldwin locomotive works. It weighed 450,000 pounds and i- hey are you listening to me!?
This must be the re-cut of the Polar express, where the Berkshire steam engine is high as flip and galaxy railways is cannon to the Simpsons universe. Warner Brothers must have been on LSD when they thought of this (This is a joke, this is not made by Warner Bros., for obvious reasons)
@@LEXMEN709 maybe they do in a certain sense, if you look at the boy's clock when the polar express it says 11:55 but when the polar express arrives at the north pole it's still 11:55, the time only starts moving when Santa is about to depart on his sleigh
You know at the same time of referencing the polar express they intentionally reference the Galaxy express 999 with the train being able to fly. But that's just me X3
