Sims 1
In The Sims 1, Nectar Making was introduced in The Sims: Makin' Magic. But in order to make nectar you need to first read the recipes. You can make Grape Nectar, Elderberrie Nectar and Honey Nectar. Nectar is made by putting grapes/elderberries and other ingredients into the Nectar Maker. After that, you can start pressing the Nectar. Your Sim will change into their swimsuit and will dance and stomp the ingredients. The nectar will be poured in a bottle. You can then sell the nectar, give it as a gift or place it on a Nectar Bar, and drink it yourself. Every batch of Nectar takes an individual place. But there is one more secret recipe for a Magic Nectar. This Nectar will Temporarily turn your Sim into a ghost.
Sims 3
In The Sims 3, Nectar Making came with Sims 3: World Adventures. And a Nectar Maker can be bought at the nectary in Champs Les Sims. Here you can also buy quality Nectar, Nectar rack and of course, a Nectar Maker. Like in The Sims 1, For making Nectar add fruits in the Nectar Maker. Add fruit from your inventory.
You can garden yourself, or steal from other properties :). The better the quality of the fruit, the better the Nectar. Or you can buy from a grocery store. To get start making Nectar, you need to add fruit to the Nectar Maker. It takes ten pieces of fruit to make Nectar. you need to try out different blends to find the perfect match. Then your Sim will hop in and start squishing the fruit. Then your Sim will set up the machine. After a while, the Nectar will be ready. The Nectar will be added to your inventory.
You can then store it on a Nectar Rack in a basement to improve the aging process. You give it as a gift or serve it and drink it yourself.
Sims 4
In The Sims 4, Nectar Making made a return in Sims 4: Horse Ranch. You can buy a Nectar Maker for §350 from the Buy Catalog.
When you click on craft Nectar, it will display a menu that allows you to choose from all the available recipes, and the skill level you need for each of them. You can then purchase some basic ingredients right on the spot, grow some of them yourself, or Order or buy directly from a vendor. At the beginning you need to start with the Level one Nectar making recipes. Your Sim will pour the necessary ingredients and start squishing. Unlike the previous Sims games, Sims won't change in their bathing suits, they'll remove their shoes. Then your Sim will pour the squished liquid in a bottle. And place the nectar in their inventory. You can then sell it, or place it on a table, or a rack to age and increase their value, or sell it immediately. You can pour up to 4 servings from one bottle. And you can drink straight from the bottle, or drink from a glass. Each type of nectar gives Sims different effect. Vampires, werewolves, and other occult Sims have special Nectar recipes that only they can make.
