i love how playful's like "we're having fun haha :)" then very playful "hey it's gettin real funny now haha" then hysterical "hahaha oh shit i think i might die"
That probably means that their needs aren't being met. Sims get uncomfortable when they: are tired, hungry, need to use the bathroom, or need to take a shower. They are sad when they get lonely and tense when they need entertainment.
Time cuts for me to be able to communicate only through sims noises: 0:00 Fine 0:04 Happy 0:09 Very Happy 0:17 Inspired 0:23 Very Inspired 0:31 Energized 0:33 Very Energized 0:38 Focused 0:40 Very Focused 0:45 Flirty 0:51 Very Flirty 0:57 Confident 1:02 Very Confident 1:07 Playful 1:11 Very Playful 1:14 Hysterical 1:18 Uncomfortable 1:23 Very Uncomfortable 1:29 Sad 1:33 Very Sad 1:39 Tense 1:46 Very Tense 1:50 Bored 1:56 Dazed 2:01 Angry 2:06 Very Angry 2:10 Enraged 2:15 Embarrassed 2:20 Very Embarrassed 2:24 Mortified
For some reason 'Fine' was always my least favorite emotion. It's just so passive aggressive and I feel like my Sim is judging me for giving them a basic life lol
I hear tense everytime a Sim comes home from work and it's very... unpleasant. Very tense, I've literally had that noise in dreams. Dazed... comes very rarely and it's just a very odd feeling I get when it plays.
I'll never forget when after days of playing and FINALLY getting around to starting a family, the toddler tells his dad so many jokes 1:14 plays and then the dad dies of laughter immediately afterwards 😭😭😭😭😭
The notes are F E Eb D Eb E F# so it sounds kinda round but the F# note makes it sound ‘off’, combined with the quick note ascend and descend it makes the music gives off a dizzy feeling. It’s hard to explain music tones because you just kinda feel it, but there is some theory to it.
I love the hysterical sound. It sounds like the strings are laughing. It's just perfect. I like how the more extreme the emotion is, the orchestration becomes bigger.
I had a gameplay where everyone were very funny at birthday party of a small girl of mine and then her dad died of laughter... It wasn't funny anymore XD

Looking at a light/light off your phone stimulates the mind. Stop scrolling on the internet while you’re laying in bed and you’ll actually get to sleep. 👍
The very inspired, very energized, very focused, hysterical, tense, dazed, enraged, and mortified emotions always send chills up my spine. The music in sims for emotions really can make me feel like whatever emotion my sim is feeling.
The Very Sad sting will always be my favorite. It's just so beautiful, yet depressing at the same time. It encapsulates the emotion absolutely perfectly.
Tense, Bored, Dazed and Mortified capture the feelings associated with their respective emotions so well! I love when games use visual or audio cues to communicate or emphasize abstract concepts like status effects or debuffs to the player, and this is one of the most satisfying examples of a game doing it well that I've ever seen.
Mortified tho Its more of a 3rd emotion for scared Mortified should be like the sim covering their face completely like a "DONT LOOK AT ME IM HIDEOUS" pose
When I accidentally bluetooth connect to the family tv 2:15 When I realize they are listening to a super weird song I was wholeheartedly vibing to 2:20 When I try to blame someone else but everyone's in the living room so they know it's me 2:24
Hysterical's theme really captures the "haha is was food but if you don't get rid of it your simm's heart _will_ stop so think fast!" And it's beautiful.
If you have a sim with the genius trait, they usually get focused instantly when they wake up. At least mine does. If she doesn't get focused immediately after she wakes up, she gets focused while she's peeing. Then again she has the erratic trait on her, even though the moodlet is always caused by the genius trait.
mostly you have to catch your sim in a playful mood and amp up any playful-inducing actions like comedy shows, books, etc. fun fact: your sim can die from laughter when hysterical for too long!
The Possessed Emotion is hands down the scariest thing in this game, the little icon for the sim is terrifying.. not to mention the sound that plays for it.
I had a sim become hysterical once, they ended up dying of laughter. They also had a wife who was pregnant and they already had 2 toddlers, when she gave birth she had twins so she was stuck with FOUR toddlers after he died
I wanna have a soundboard with me at all times and just play these whenever I want to. I think this is the greatest idea that has ever crossed my mind omg
@@allonsyisabelli probably cuz it represents how frantic someone can get when overjoyed. Or simply a warning that your sim could die if they keep it too long.😅
I hate to admit it, but the sound design for the sims 4 is very well done. This, along with the singing, piano, violin, guitar, etc. skills are some areas where the sims team did a pretty good job.
