I completely agree with you! I think Jayden is SO blinded by love and has those rose colored glasses on, he's not seeing it or will just let it go. And some people aren't super confrontation and will think about tough things and eventually let the go and get over it. I see that for Jayden. Aww thank you Melanie! @@AidaTriche hey! Glad you’re watching but I’m a little confused lol. Which relationship are you referring to? Juni is the daughter of Nic who is having trouble with his wife abandoning him and her family. He is struggling financially and emotionally which is causing him to cope in harmful ways. At this point with the characters we are getting the big picture but we will be able to dive more into them as sims eventually ☺️

@@savythatsimmer oh I mean Juni essentially. Having Juni go into a relationship and having her partner also deal with taking care of her father is a lot of an ask. But for Nic, having him in a relationship under his circumstances can also be a lot too. Sorry for the confusion. Maybe I understood wrong too. More so - having the partner also parent the parent happens a lot (irl sadly). So wanted to comment that I hope either relationship won’t necessarily just be there solely focused on taking care of Nic for the sake of loving Juno.

@@savythatsimmer Hey Savy, glad you asked. (enthusiastically rubs hands together) I think that old Ted could be a very distant uncle. Ted could even be unaware that he has a nephew Nik currently living in Strangerville. From Ted's POV he's been doing his usual shady meetups with [redacted] military members, scientists and officials.... It isnt until Ted hears that a lower rank military cadet has been asking questions, that he finds the need to pull a military employee file. He doesnt want unwanted people discovering the secrets that went down in the lab. Reading the file, he discovers that the employee in question is his distant nephew Nik. Knowing this, Ted feels relief that he can make sure his secrets and involvement with the lab stay a secret. I can even see Ted inviting Nik and Juni over to his mansion for dinner. Pretending to show interest in Nik's life. All he has to do is promise Nick a career advancement and scholarships for Juni...in exchange, all Ted wants is for Nik to stop speaking with the conspiracy theorists and stop asking about the lab. Claiming that its bad for elections and we dont want a family scandal based on rumors. On top of that, Ted could throw in the possibility of new housing for Nik and Juni. This may interest Nik alot as it gives him something more to offer Christine if she decides to speak with him again. Because Nik is in the military, ranking up will give him two options. He can be a loyal cadet or a covert operator (a spy for Strangerville). If you choose Covert Operator, you're on the bad guys team and basically erasing evidence of the truth in Strangerville. If you choose the Officer branch, Nik will still have his nights free to seek out the truth and and solve the mystery. How crazy would it be for Nik to accept Ted's offer only to find out on a later date that the truth is in Ted's basement. (The evidence should be here if you haven't bulldozed Ted's mansion on the hill in Strangerville) Christine could return. Nik can agree with Ted's deal then secretly work with Erwin anyway. Nik could take the deal but Juni is suspicious. Heck, ted may even get nik to eat the fruit if he ever gets concerned about Nik's loyalty...or Nik could deny the deal altogether leaving Juni confused and convinced that her dad has finally lost his mind for siding with conspiracy theorists. You have a lot you can work with. This can go in many directions. Cant wait to see what happens.

Strangerville is a small world. However, if you need to place more lots for storytelling, Oasis Springs and the Horse Ranch world have canyons that would still fit the LP aesthetic. In my mind, all three worlds are right next to each other.

Imagine juni’s mom breaking up with that chef and she tried reaching juni and go back to the family but they kicked her out and like got the divorce she lost her family and also her lover 🤡 And like nic finally having a fresh start with someone at least he need that 🥲❤️

I like this idea. Only I want Juni to find a romantic interest, get close to them and then notice that her new friend is acting different. Perhaps the friend ate a strange fruit cuz its Strangerville. That would give Juni reason to dive deeper into Strangerville lore as well. Musician by day, truth seeker by night.

@@savythatsimmer well since mr man thinks she’s an actress she can say its from her last pay out and she just hasn’t had time to deposit it in her bank since she has been with him all this time so hadn’t had time to come back to the apartment to get it. Then again if you want something juicy you could say its from one of her fans and unsure what to do with it and see what he thinks knowing full well where that money is from.

I think at this point I'm thinking since she was SO sus about it, but Jayden is in that honeymoon phase right now and he believes whatever she says, i think he might let it go. we'll see! But i think your idea is the best logical explanation!@@SimmerClaw
