I've had them for a year and they are exceptional, they have no lateral movement unlike the Sim Jacks for which many have to replace the bushings. The customer support is good, I had some problems with the elastomers, I contacted them and they sent me free new 70ha hardness elastomers and new springs which they told me will be included in all new products shipped.

I recently purchased the Simjacks and they seem to of sorted out the play in the bushings as I have no play in mine, TBH all these Chinese HE Clones seem to be very solid pedals and all have their plus and minuses as they do seem to have slight design differences in the control box etc, I checked the Hydraulic rods that recently came with my simjacks and they do feel like gas springs rather than being mechanically spring loaded, The software with the Simsonn's is a decent plus if it works and if they can develop it further, It's great that Sim Racers can get Pro grade pedals for very little coin as I can now spend on upgrading the pedals with some haptic Dayton Audio exciters and Simhub 😉

I have these and like them. My only gripe design wise is that the pedal faces are not curved. I put grip tape on the faces of mine and because of that my foot doesn’t slip off but because they are flat, you can actually misalign the faces if you press hard enough. Not an issue with anything other than the brake though

Hey SRC, your reviews of different budget gear have really helped me in the past. I was wondering if you have any knowledge of Simsonn’s wheel hub that is listed in their store? It caught my eye due to the nice mix of rotaries and physical switches, but finding reviews or videos of it seems to be a dead end.

Do you feel as if the lower rated load cells on these are a limiting factor in comparison to the Simjack Pros? And if they are, is there any possible chance to just slot in a replacement higher rated load cell? edit: The included link for the Simsonn pedal calibration software in the description no longer works. I can't seem to find this software anywhere else.
@nativerezmedia
@nativerezmedia 8 месяцев назад
The diffent leverage points and the way the cradle is setup holding the load cell makes the 130kg load cell plenty for most people's needs. For example, if you put 300kg of force on the pedal, that doesn't mean a direct 300kg of force will be placed on the load cell. It may only be 100kg on the load cell... (my explanation is not based on these pedals, just trying to explain the engineering).
@silenceddd

@nativerezmedia
@nativerezmedia 8 месяцев назад
@@silenceddd Whats the other major issues?
@silenceddd
@silenceddd 8 месяцев назад
2/3 of the red elastomers snapped while calibrating the pedals. Wasn't a huge issue since I decided to 3d print a few TPU elastomers. The brake pedal rod that holds the elastomers binds pretty tightly to the nylon bushing/guide causing a gritty feel in the brake pedal while I'm trail braking and releasing pressure slowly. I don't have faith in this part lasting so I'm trying to think of solutions at the moment. I've already sanded the nylon part to be a little wider and applied some grease as a stop gap measure. And finally, I have significant side to side play in my pedals. I'm in the process of replacing the metal bushings with some press fit cartridge bearings that should remove the play. Overall, I wouldn't recommend these unless you're willing to risk some DIY. I don't really want to deal with returns to China so I'm just going to try to remedy the issues myself but I'm definitely regretting not dropping the extra coin for HE Sprints or P1000's
@nativerezmedia
@nativerezmedia 8 месяцев назад
@@silenceddd That's a bummer. You must have got a couple bad elastomers because I've cranked down on mine and have never had an issue. As far as the plastic guide, make sure it's facing the correct way, if it gets put in backwards it will bind up (also use a white lithium grease to help a little). When you say side to side play, do you mean while no load is on the pedal... Or when it's pressed maybe half way you can wiggle it? If you mean once it's pushed then mine has that slight play as well.. That seems normal, any car that I've ever been in has the same amount of play, if not more.

Thank you very much for the video!! I was searching information for this pedals. I'm in the plan to buy Fanatec bundle with CSL Elite V2 or V3 but I found this reading in forums... I like to drive old school cars with clutch and H shifter. Do you think the base pedal of the simple Fantatec CSL will serve to fit this pedals? The mounting holes on these pedals are not going to line up to the CSL pedals. The damper rods for just the brake and clutch should be enough. And yes, Simjack brake mods, will fit the Simsonn pedals.

You know the load cell KG rating also has to be multiplied by the leverage of the cradle it's sitting in. A higher rated KG load cell doesn't necessarily mean you can't put tons of pressure on the pedal.

@@SimRacingCorner Ive got these pedals & whilst I would love to use them, I constantly get EMI feedback from my Fanatec CSL DD which makes the throttle & clutch jump all over the place & therefor unusable. Ive tried shielding, earthing out etc with some improvements but still have major issues - its a shame as they feel way better than the CSL Elite v1 - setting dead zones doesnt help as the 'jumping about' carries on throughout the pedal travel - I really wish I could get a fix for this but looks like I will have to put them away for when /if I change my DD to a different brand

There's none in the uk if you keep the order under £135. I'm waiting on a set i ordered last week, I ended up buying 1 of those gas springs on a separate order because including them in with the pedals was going to bring me over that 135 limit. It was 132 or something for the 3 pedals with decent elastomers.
