I saw the movie last night (Sept 5) and loved it. Marvel movies are so well scripted I know they will be good through excellent. I loved how they incorporated a huge amount of backstory into it, without interfering with the flow of it. I had first seen Simu in Kim's Convenience so it was a bit weird to see him as Chinese after being a Korean son at first but the transition took hold after that great bus scene. Loved the ending battle (no spoilers) and the animation throughout the movie is great. After seeing him in Shang-Chi, I think Simu will do very well in movies no matter who he portrays--superheroes, composer, Genghis Khan, or astronaut, or a Prime Minister in an Apocalyptic world thriller.
