Taking me a brutal 21 hours worth of repeat playthroughs, I finally can upload this series after acquiring all of its endings and mining it of its worth. Expect the entire series to go up by tomorrow.
I agree. I find it interesting that she was looking down at the icons, like she was watching what you where doing. Then to have the video end with her looking straight at you.
especially since it's supposed to be a complete reset. if you give it anna's name, it tells you outright that it wants _your_ name. it's a phone that still acknowledges anna's existence despite _us_ being the one setting the phone up for ourselves.
something's wrong with Greg tho... how could he be in a relationship with the girl and not be able to answer the three VERY BASIC security questions? super fishy right there. I'm gonna go ahead and pull a hypothesis from my ass and say that this "Greg" is actually an imitator. Don't know his motive though :')
I thought about this too. Maybe, MAYYYBEEEE, he's trying to see if the person behind the computer it's actually Anna... But giving the circumstances, that be stupid to try after sensing her computer warm and seeing the mess in her house (unless that everything he dais was a lie).
Nope . I know im like- 4 years late but hear me out i watched mark's simulacra and when james aulner was like discovered that girl maddie * i think? * was her name said she like blocked james aulner because james aulner knew everything that happened to anna and maddie , im pretty sure imitators know everything about you cause' they can like, access your phones and the real ones dont really know anything about you. Maybe greg is just a sc-m that doesnt really care about her.
Oh my God, this game is super creepy, and I love it! Holy shit man, I live for stuff like this. Also, that image when the picture of Anna started corrupting itself was... Ew. Skeeved me the hell out.
12:15 I can't stop laughing the second this popped up. Heck, I nearly fell off my chair when Manly say that he's using someone else's account on a dating app
I watched the last half of this with my hand blocking at least half of the screen at all times 😣 I'm so bad with scary games but love your playthroughs, hahah...!!
56:35 - “ if you look behind you right now, would you rather see a floating disembodied head or a headless body “ Me: and this is where I stop playing the game :D *turns off the computer*
_Never lose your phone_ You might have some You Tuber named Manly Hero data mining it for our perverted viewing pleasure. :D Greg is the type of guy that no girl should date in the first place... he's painful. He might like her, but he has a fairly possessive attitude. Really good job giving us the info so far & this seems much more interesting & involved than Sara is Missing game.
+NaturalFlirtGamer Does _anyone_ get worried and not angry when someone doesn't respond? It's always portrayed as "oh, you're giving me the silent treatment, huh? *huff*" and never "Hey, don't make me file a missing persons report on you." The missing persons report could even work as a joke between friends. Alas, the story wouldn't be very interesting if Greg got worried about not getting a response after a few days. Instead of getting more frustrated for weeks. Weeks! The story also wouldn't be very interesting if police were called as soon as Greg saw the messy apartment and heard the noise. Or if the player character turned the phone in to police once weird stuff started happening. Or if the police ever got involved in general. There'd be a lot of explaining to do, but there's enough weird stuff to keep Greg and the player from taking the heat, I think. On the game, the comment section's already noticing spooky things that weren't made obvious, like the background Anna looking out of the screen instead of down after the reboot. That's good! I dunno if it's supposed to be subconscious psychology about seeing eyes looking at you, but it's working.
+Thelothuo Greg is the stereotypical guilty guy who texts repeatedly out of frustration because he screwed up & fought with his girlfriend. A possessive jerk tbh. His VA is perfect actually because he makes him totally unlikeable lol. Since she seemed to post now & again & didn't _completely_ disappear, there would be little for the police to do I think. She's not missing, she's just missing from seeing him & going into work. I have watched the whole game already, so I will not spoil for you. It is worth the watch!
+NaturalFlirtGamer Right voice, yes. Like a child. Some line pacing was funny, but hey, it's indie. And now that you mention it, yes, she did have a presence elsewhere. How long's she been out from work? Not an email from them? A call? Oh, well.
+Thelothuo It's a good creepy story... & it does make you think. What if you knew me irl... maybe I had an argument with you. If you didn't see me for a while & just saw my NFG comments here or on Twitter, would you really be worried that something happened to me? Or would you think I just wanted to cool off for a while? I like the premise of the game.
+NaturalFlirtGamer No, I think you said you were from New York or something, so definitely not. But there was that incident where your reply to someone else was rather uncharacteristic. Had me sp00ked. I wouldn't be too worried if I didn't see any activity from you, as the timing of getting to videos means sometimes I see the video earlier, so not seeing anything wouldn't be too much cause for alarm. Also, there are lives beyond the internet and all that. But the people who work within earshot of me I do notice the absence of. Since they work at a constant location at predetermined times, there's enough to conclude they _should_ be there. And it feels like there's a hole where they should be. Like if I went into that space they should occupy, I might get sucked out of the world, too. I might just be a nosy person.
But why isn’t anyone calling the police, or giving the phone to the police? No no, let’s get ourselves damned to hell by trying to find someone using their phone
@@dissapointment I was about to say that I was about to say that I was about to say that I was about to say that I was about to say that ... even though 5 months have passed.
So this takes place differently from the actual Sara Is missing storyline? or are they some what connected? Since weird 'cursed' videos and missing females both occur in them.
Ok i know this was 3 years ago but like I think I know what it said at 50:41 What I heard: "I am you and you are US. And we will never be separated." OR What I also heard: "I am YOU and WE are ALL.. and we will never be separated."
at first i winced when you didnt get Faraday right (like a faraday box! a security company named after a signal-blocking device) since i was expecting a game over. but what we got was even better.
Hey Manly, did you hear Misao got a remake? I think Mad Father also might of got one but I know Misao has one You should check it out! It's pretty different.
It's just a commercial release of the game... In my eyes. Since the game originally is free it is only natural that the buyable version has a few extras. Mad Father got the same treaent
48:00 wait. you got ashley to say she would go to anna's house. Hmmmmmm....I wonder if it's possible to send *Her* there. Possibly at the same time greg goes there?
*squints* Can't tell if voice actress of Ashley is British and trying to be American but occasionally slips, or is American who just randomly sounds British in some of her lines.
If it was me, halfway into this mess I would've asked for the coordinates to Anna's house so I could meet up with them. A lot easier to coordinate things in person than over *A HAUNTED-FUCKING SMARTPHONE ABOUT TO DELETE ITSELF!*
ZeonTwilight well that's the problem. These types of games somewhat rely on good or decent acting and they're all average but Greg. So that averages out into bad.
the timing is so strange on so many things, all of the text message conversations/spams happen within one minute. i thought night mind was called to fix all of that.. guess they didn't heed his advice.
hey, who noticed Simularca is a sequel of Sara is missing AKA s.i.m, and in the title of simularca theres SIM-ularca, thats how you know its a sequel. ;)
Hmm, I'm curious if it's possible at all to prevent the remote wipe. Probably not, but what is behind those three security questions? We know that answers for them are Tobias Faraday Safety Applesauce.
