Good interview - love it when the interviewer asks meaningful questions and I bet the actors do too.

Definitely sounds like a long way from All Those Women by Katherine Jakeways. I enjoy listening to Sinead Matthews on the radio as too often the voices are too similar so it is difficult to tell the characters apart but certain actors have very identifiable voices which makes it much easier to follow the story and Sinead has one of those great voices for radio and she is a good actor too. There is a male actor called Carl Prekopp and he also has a very identifiable voice so I enjoy listening to him too.

Amazing accent!

Her voice is great so distinctive and anyway it's her real voice so deal with it. I think she's a star. She was amazing in ideal so pure. Quite genius her voice acting when in a coma. And just saw her in toast of london where she plays a dr of drumming and drums constantly to any background beat from real life. Very clever. Go sinead.

I honestly thought *_that_* front tooth was made deliberately crooked for her role as Jenny in Ideal. This was my first exposure to Sinead Matthews. But, just like Steve Buscemi, who has famously gone on record saying he considers his much maligned teeth an asset rather than a liability, I think Sinead's upper frontal dental array just adds to her charm. Way to go Girl! You know what you're doing. Authenticity wins every time over fake perfection. Just ask Pamela Anderson... >

I ended up here because of the Beeb´s "Inside no. 9" episode where she appears as a a peasant woman. I found her voice on that show extremely jarring and annoying, like nails on a chalkboard. Well...she looks & sounds very different here. She´s quite attractive, in fact. Go figure!
