True. Usually Spain sends unsignificant songs no one remembers. But this is a brillant exception especially for those who have at least minimal command of Spanish.

@@sergiomontessuarez First ESC I saw and I can remeber was 1978. Significant and rembembered Spanish song were several years earlier (i.e 1968, 1971, 1973)

@@JanKowalski-vj9py well, there have been quite a few more in my opinion, but it's true that most of the better known entries were sent in the first decades of participation, like in the 60s and 70s. But I would objectively add 1984, 1990, 1991, 1995, the period between 2001 and 2004, 2008, 2012, 2014 and 2022 as remarkable songs (for better or worse reasons). They're popular songs in Spain, among the Eurovision fans or both

España/español - don't forget the letter ñ in Spanish, it's different from n.

This is my 8th place but -- as with many other songs this year -- I wouldn't have minded it if this song won. My top three are 🇵🇱, 🇮🇹 and 🇬🇧.

1997 was a very strong year. There were so many great songs but I would give my 12 points to this song. Beautiful love ballad. I don’t understand Spanish but somehow I could feel the passion of this song. He sang this song wonderfully. Definitely underrated in my opinion.

that's harsh. 2001 and 2003 were both excellent.
