I will buy them eventually. I just bought some French styled chisels from Wuta. For the moment I use a single hole punch or diamond style chisels when I make one of your/ and other patterns. I found that I need one set of each size 3/4/5/6 mm for the patterns I have purchased. Everyone has their own style and spacing size. Cheers from Montreal.

Thanks for sharing! Did you use different thread in the 1mm version that you displayed?

Are most of your patterns 6mm spacing? I have been following for past few weeks and thinking about trying one of your patterns!

I have the round hole punches. I find them better than chisels on soft temper/game hides. Aka deer/elk/moose. I've had them for 3+ yrs and use them exclusively

The Sinabrok hole punches were one of the best tools we invested in. The ease of using them is so smooth. They have saved us so much time when punching the twenty holes in Tony’s patterns.

......I didn't know you could use different diameter prongs on the same body. This advice would have saved me a hundred dollars at least if I'd known it a year ago.

Hey tony I make kendo tsuba from 2 leather circles. Any tips for keeping holes aligned without havig to glue the 2 pieces together first and punching through all that leather?

I start by finding the center of the line I want to stitch on both pieces. Put 1 hole. Then mark 1 hole on each side of that center hole (usually with a 2 pronged stitching chisel so its always perfectly even) until where the beginning would be. In your case , a circle , so until they meet. Do exactly the same on the 2 identical pieces . Make all the holes and they should line up (count them to make sure). You could practice with paper first to make sure. You could also make a paper template and place it over each piece to mark them. Good luck.

I've just spent £700 on them, and they are amazing. It's definitely worth the money.
