And it also takes a lot of balls to cover 'Since 'i've been loving you'. Probably, along with ''Baby i'm gonna leave you' (at least for me), the two best Zeppelin songs on its whole.
It's already been said, yet don't stop me, I want to hear it again: it does take a lot of balls to cover Led Zeppelin. TL;DR _Especially_ this song IMO. And it was a for-real tribute (not an interpretive cover). The drummer, keys, and bass laid down the ice for everyone to skate on. The vocalist hit all the spots he's supposed to, including the little bits and fills some folks would leave out. The guitarist -- best I can tell, note-for-note on Jimmy Page in this song. Not mechanically, I mean he did that with the right feel and such a good tone. Wow. I did not expect this to be anywhere near this good. Great job y'all.
thanks a lot !!!!!! ill talk to the guys! but since were doing a tribute to Floyd, Zep & Deep Purple per night , theres not much room for b sides unfortunately ... 🙂
Great tribute guys ! I enjoyed it. If I could name just one band that should be remembered from this epoche in time, it would be Led Zeppeling. That band that colored my musical youth even more then other greats like Queen or Pink Floyd. Led Zeppelin was a band that didn't had just one style and thats what make them so interesting. Next to the fact that they had one of the best singers, one of the best guitarplayers, on of the best keyboard players and the best drummer of all times. Since I've been loving you is one of there best songs and the one with the strongest bluesy feeling with some taste of soul, rock and even Gospel in it. And also one of their bests live performances that was recorded back in 1973. I think you did a great job, putting in your own musical texture without loosing the very soul of it.
Wow!! Damn that was good. Such a difficult song to cover & big shoes to fill. It was tight, lead singer knocked me out with his vocal range and all band members spot on
Let me just say this is the best take I've ever heard of this song. Incredibly tight groove all the way through, the guitarist nails JP's style on a tele and threw in his own style, while not taking anything away from it. The singing was just absolutely spot on. To me SIBLY is the absolute essence of the blues, so if you can capture that essence, like what was done right here, you've got SIBLY too. Amazing
die allerbeste Interpretation dieses Liedes, nicht zuletzt ob des Gesangs. ich bin mit ledzepp groß geworden. es gibt viele gute Interpretationen. aber sorry diese hier lässt meiner Meinung nach alles weit hinter sich.
yeah...excellent job... plant couldn't sing it/out of the studio... page couldn't play it/out of the studio... it still reigns as the best british-blues song ever recorded!
i have to say that the vocals is as close to original as ive ever heard. even better than mr. jimmy sakuria . BUT ,,, the guitar dont hold a candle to sakuria .
hi! if i translated this correctly 😅 .. well yea.. Plant is great singer obviously but i guess he never sang things the same twice... he doesnt have to obviously but sometimes the studio performance has something magical which we would like to hear again.... but i often like Pages's playing more on the recordings than on the live stuff... 🙂
Buona cover. Imitare gli Zeppelin e' praticamente impossibile. Plant poi...Bonham...Page. Jones. Ma avete fatto un ottimo.lavoro. 😅la batteria di bonzo e' inclonabile. Nel.pezzo dei.led e' mostruoso. Qui.il cantante nn regge molto.nel.finale...ma come vocalist va.
