Numbers 23:19 - God is not man , that he should lie , or a son of man , that he should change his mind . When Christians claim Jesus is God just point them to this verse in their own Bible which literally says God is not a man .

I just noticed that the brother is wearing a necklace and a bracelet. I'm not aware of any difference of opinion when it comes to forbidding all jewelry, like necklaces, earrings, and bracelets, for men in Islam with the exception of non-gold rings, which men can wear on the pinky or ring fingers. It is bizarre to see a brother working in da'awa apparently not aware of this. The rulings can be revised on a website like IslamQA with searches or keywords like: Are Muslim Men Allowed to Wear Bracelets? Can Men Wear Necklaces? Note that some of the answers and fatwas on such websites answer the argument that there's no intention to imitate women when wearing them; when it comes to publicly visible practices, one's intention cannot be relied on in isolation from the effect of the practice on society. And in today's world, even if there's no imitation to women, there's imitation to gangsters, rappers, etc., when men wear such jewelry.

A small suggestion - Instead of saying “we reject the idea of trinity”, it may be better to say “we don’t believe trinity”. Just to keep the other person more comfortable with the conversation.

Regarding the second coming of Jesus, peace be upon him, the brother should clarify that at that point, it will be too late for Christians to believe when Jesus actually straightens out the truth about him and God. The way the brother mentions the second coming of Jesus, peace be upon him, may be misunderstood by some Christians as something that they can wait or hope for. Jesus, peace be upon him, is coming with undeniable miracles, so no one will be able to deny the truth at that point. It wouldn't be fair to the Christians who use their minds and hearts today to embrace the truth and believe in Islam if some Christians can wait until Jesus, peace be upon him, comes with undeniable miracles and proof so they can finally believe. This is partially why the second coming of Jesus, peace be upon him, cannot be relied on for belief.

There are many, many verses of both the old and new testament which prove that Jesus (pbuh) is not God. Verses that prove Jesus (pbuh) is not divine include: Hebrews 5:7 During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries and tears to the One who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. In this verse, Jesus (pbuh) is described as offering prayer in “reverent submission”. God is described as One. This verse on its own should make completely clear that Jesus (pbuh) is not God; rather, he submitted to God. Matthew 24:36 But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Why would Jesus (pbuh) not know about the Day of Judgement, if he was supposedly divine? The argument of “two natures” doesn’t have any logical or scriptural basis, so this presents a real problem for Christianity. Matthew 26:39 Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as You will.” Why would Jesus (pbuh) fall on his face in prayer if he was God? If he was divine, he wouldn’t need to pray. The words “not as I will, but as You will” also show that Jesus (pbuh) acknowledged the distinction between himself and God. Incidentally, prostration in prayer in commonly associated with Islam. John 5:30 By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but Him who sent me. In this verse, Jesus (pbuh) makes an open statement of submissiveness to God. This would be illogical if Jesus (pbuh) was equal to God. Mark 10:18 “Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good-except God alone. In this verse, Jesus (pbuh) makes a clear, obvious distinction between himself and God. Many verses of Acts, such as Acts 3:13 The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus. You handed him over to be killed, and you disowned him before Pilate, though he had decided to let him go. In this verse, it can be clearly seen that the apostles regarded Jesus (pbuh) as a servant of God, exactly what Jesus (pbuh) is quoted as saying in the Quran. The books of Acts actually includes many verses which call Jesus (pbuh) the servant of God, such as Acts 4:30, and Acts 4:27. John 14:28 “You heard me say, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I. Again, this verse is a clear statement of inequality between Jesus (pbuh) and God. John 14:1 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. In this verse, Jesus (pbuh) is quoted as making another clear distinction between himself and God. John 4:23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. Here the “true worshipers” are described as worshiping God alone, not a trinity or Jesus (pbuh). Hebrews 4:15, compared with James 1:13 Hebrews 4:15 is as follows: For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are-yet he did not sin. James 1:13 is as follows: When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; While Hebrews 4:15 clearly states that Jesus (pbuh) was tempted, James 1:13 clearly states that God cannot be tempted. Therefore, Jesus (pbuh) cannot be God. Then there are verses from the Old Testament which prove the issues with Christian doctrine: Numbers 23:19 God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? It is clearly stated that God is not human; Jesus (pbuh) was human, and identified as such many times in the Christian books, such as in John 8:40. Hosea 11:9 I will not carry out my fierce anger, nor will I devastate Ephraim again. For I am God, and not a man- the Holy One among you. I will not come against their cities. Again, God is not a man, while Jesus (pbuh) most certainly was. Isaiah 45:21-22 Declare what is to be, present it- let them take counsel together. Who foretold this long ago, who declared it from the distant past? Was it not I, the Lord? And there is no God apart from me, a righteous God and a Savior; there is none but me. “Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other. This is a clear, unequivocal statement of monotheism. God is One, and there is no other; no trinity, no division. One God alone. And there are many other verses, such as some in Ezekiel, and some in 1 Kings, which prove the same point. I will update this answer with them soon in sha Allah. All Bible verse translations are the New International Version. Allah (subhanahu wa ta’ala) knows best. All praise and worship be only to Allah (subhanahu wa ta’ala).

Why Jesus died on the cross for us explained in simple terms… God is perfect in all his attributes. He is forever the same and unchanging (in the past, present, and future). That means he’s eternally perfect in holiness, love, mercy, justice, righteousness, etc. Since he is perfect in holiness, no sin can be in his presence, and since he is perfect in justice, all sin is punished. The Bible says, the wages of sin is death. This essentially means that all sin regardless of how minuscule or large the act is, will be punished. Practically speaking, let’s say a person lived his whole life and committed only one sin, a lie, he will forever be separated from god because sin is what separates us from a perfectly holy and just god. Regardless of how many good deeds this person does in their life, the wages of sin is death (spiritual and physical). That means you cannot bribe your way into heaven with good deeds. Also, god cannot just forgive you because even though he is love and merciful, he is eternally just and holy and all sin is punished. Imagine for a moment, that you get a speeding ticket and in court you tell the judge how sorry you are and that you will never speed again and you beg for forgiveness, and that you also are a very generous person who has donated thousands of dollars to the poor and who has volunteered thousands of hours helping others. A just judge will say good for you, and I’m glad you won’t speed again, but the fine of $200 still needs to be paid. Imagine how much more holy, righteous, and just god is. That being said, this is where the cross comes in to play. Jesus lived a holy life (meaning he committed no sin) and since he was unjustly punished and put to death, death could not hold him (penalty of sin is death) and therefore he rose from the dead, defeating death (Revelation 1:18 “I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.”). Since sin is a transgression against god, god was the only one capable of providing a path for forgiveness/salvation. Sin against a holy god requires a perfect/eternal punishment/sacrifice. The cross is where god’s perfect justice (sin is punished) and mercy (forgiveness for our sins) meet. God’s perfect love for us is displayed through the cross because out of his own free will he made a path for salvation and a way for us to be justified (forgiveness of sin) before god. Jesus lived a life we have not lived (sinless), died the death we should have died, and paid the price we could not pay. That is why Jesus say’s I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one can come to the father except by me, because there is no other way to god or path for salvation. All of us have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of god, and the only way to be forgiven is to believe and put your faith in Jesus and into what Jesus has done for us on the cross! Praise all be to the King and Savior the Lord God Almighty Jesus Christ!!!

They never killed Jesus. The matter of the fact that Jesus was praying, sweating and begging God to save him from his enemies in Matthew 26:39 and Luke 22:44, clearly shows he never wanted to die, and God heard his prayers and saved him as prophesied in the full Pslam 91 chapter and the following verses: Pslam 91:10-16. Because you have made the Lord your dwelling place- the Most High, who is my refuge- 10 no evil shall be allowed to befall you, no plague come near your tent. 11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. 12 On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone. 13 You will tread on the lion and the adder; the young lion and the serpent you will trample underfoot. 14 “Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows my name. 15 When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. 16 With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.” Pslam 18:3. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies. Pslam 34:6. This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. Pslam 34:19-20. 19. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. 20. He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken. Pslam 41:2.The Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies. Pslam 20:6. Now I know that the LORD saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven With the saving strength of His right hand. Pslam 118:17. I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the LORD has done. Hebrews 5:7. Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; Qur’an 4:157. They killed him not.

Nobody actually believes Jesus is God. They are all told to believe it or they will burn in hell forever

If Muslims believe that Jesus was a great prophet and that his words and miracles are true, then why did those who listened to the words of Jesus aka the apostles or disciples establish the early church (not the catholic church established later or even Christianity as it is known today)? Why did those who followed the words of a prophet and were the most intimate with his words believe that Jesus was God so much so to the point of death, stoning and even crucifixion? Why would those who directly listened to the words of this prophet create the beginnings of a religion that disagreed in the Singularity but rather the Triune nature of God? Can the words of Allah through the prophet Jesus be corrupted? Surely not.

This again proves that Jesus cannot be God. Exodus 33.20. But,? he said, you cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live. 1 John 4.12. No one has ever seen God; 1 Timothy 6:16. who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen. 1 Timothy 1.17.
