Not really related to the animatic, but just the musical itself. The line "The only man that I love is my dad" is so untrue for both characters. Like, Connor hated his dad cause he always thought everything he did was for attention and just generally wasn't a very supportive or good dad to Connor in general. And for Evan, his dead left him and his mom at a young age. Even if Evan doesn't hate his dad, he still never got the chance to really meet him and might have blamed him for things since he was never there for him and his mother. Okay, I'm done. Just thought that was interesting. Meh. Loved the animatic by the way.

Amazing expressions, check. Great animation that you clearly put a ton of effort into until the end, check. No more than platonic shipping, check. I like this.

But this means that Jack killed himself, and Mark is pretending that they were friends, but they weren't. If you compare it to the actual musical it's kind of sad to think about ( ;-;)

I looked it up. Oh boy. Jack is the ghost of a dead-by-suicide high school addict, Mark is a kid with social anxiety issues who's posing as said dead guy friend and forging emails in order to flesh out his lie, and Felix is the probably-a-hacker pseudo friend of Marks. The cute level of this just dropped immensely. It's still awesome to watch, since I can't draw at all.
