Note: angles in triangles are only explicitly identified as obtuse in questions for the Mathematics General 2 course (ie. Mathematics Standard 2). In Mathematics 2 Unit (ie. Mathematics Advanced), students must either supply both angles or determine from other available information whether the angle should be acute or obtuse.

Those sin 30/45/60 numbers are very useful for tracking changes in midday sun angle across the seasons in middle latitudes: Y = 23.4 sin θ + 90 - L, where θ = 0 is defined as the sun's ecliptic position at the March equinox.
