she is a great, generous woman. i was lucky enough to know her personally and even over time, i still have love and respect for her 'cause she helped me. beautiful voice.
Actually, they didn't too badly. I mean, I have seen Sinead casually mocked on RTE. Sure, they didn't know much about her artwork but then many radio 1's wouldn't, in all honesty. She seemed reasonably happy on the sofa, so that is fine with me =). For myself, i have found her profoundly moving, and stimulating, in every way, since i was a child. ~ Christopher
Sinead made anyone who was not OK with honesty or comfortable with themselves feel very uncomfortable so to hide thieri discomfort at her natural opennes and honesty they have to makde out she is somehow strange or "controversial"...funny how just being yourself and speaking honestly is sooo controversial. Its like we are expected to lie and not tell the truth and when we don't do this we are then labelled awkward or crazy..especially when we are woman. Amazing all the #hit she got just for being honest,...wonder when this will ever change !!?
I think you misunderstood what he was saying, he was saying her music on her new album is a roller coaster of emotions as in she has sad songs and happy songs. He is not putter her down at all, and he is not an ass!!!
I love her voice and songs she is so kind and sensitive I wonder where she got her Jesus top or sweat shirt so beautiful I would like one she is so kind and Godly Beautiful soul
Yeah is like me when I make a mistake "Gosh I'm so..." but still it silly you can see beyond that as she can see beyond questioning about ourselves "Are we that naive?" that our flaws are nothing more than human that's what makes us human right? and our talents surpass those feelings of feeling down! That's what she needs to understand there is a beautiful place for her to hold on to!
The interviewers are two people doing their job - a job which would require everyone to act in the same neutral way. You don't know what they're like off-camera.
It would be nice to see Sinead O'Connor with hair longer again. Not sure what the crew cuts were about maybe an identity thing. She has always been something of mystery.
It must be hard to talk about music to folks that have such limited knowledge of it as these two presenters. I felt Sinead O'Connor had to duck and dive a bit here. She didn’t really get the chance to tell us about her recent album or songs. Not sure what the whole thing was about. But great to see her still going strong in spite of one or two ups and downs. Presenters were bit to dry for her intellect. Of course it’s just another boring BBC job to them.
She's so complicated, fame has an awful effect to people at an early age. she wants to get her mind poured out to everybody else and to agree with it. The BBC wants to quite people like this down. I'm leaving the UK it's awful.
