Sinethemba Mahlangu is from Zola, Soweto, South Africa. Third Ear received some demos from him in 2019 and since then have mentored him and encouraged his talent. The Unorthodox Flow EP is his first release. We are proud and excited to now share his music with the world. The EP shows a prodigious talent creating a original form of music. His choice of tempos demonstrates a fearless approach, while his sounds and arrangements show a knowledge and understanding of house and classic soul and jazz, with an experimental edge. 'Worn Out Black Hoodie' has you immediately gazing off into the cosmos, 'Melancholia' is subtly late-night jazz house and 'Unorthodox Flows' is a dreamy beatdown.
