I've been using the Sinewave Cycles Beacon for a while now. Here are my thoughts on it. Reliable, simple, functional, and it provides a whole of features that are all built right into the light. 10 out of 10.
Some other reviewers have said the light is not directional. It's not designed to focus the beam on the road. Have you noticed this? Does it bother you?
What battery pack and do you have to buy that seperately ? Also which dynamo tail light did you use and is it connected to the hub as well for I can't find it>
They are the el-cheapo handle bar extenders off of Amazon. They were $12 and have been across the United States twice now without any issues. They were black when I bought them, but became sun faded after my first trip across the U.S.
The tail light has a small electrical capacitor built into it. Once you have been moving for a few minutes, this will keep the tail light lit for 5 minutes of stand still time. Works great.
