That was awesome. I'm currently writing a paper about the roles of parents throughout this book and one thing I wanted to say about Richie and why he couldn't cross the river is because he didn't have a parent figure to help him cross he was still in need of love and nurturing. He died young and similarly with Leonie, Mam said she didn't have the mother "instinct" but we see at the end when Leonie tried her best to gather the things for Mam's passing that she has it in her to become a parent but she probably needs more parenting/nurturing in order to get it right. She is overwhelmed with her duties as a parent and her awful experiences in her childhood not to mention her addiction and because of that she is losing her kids and sticking to Michael for support because he gives her the love she thinks she needs and wants.
Hey I have a essay due on this book at 11:00pm at night today can you help me find out how Jojo character or any character change throughout the course of the story
You did a great job in summarizing the book and discussing major components of healing, trauma, and family relationships as well as racial issues. I am subscribing to know about your other readings.
