hello, it is us from singapore when you interviewed us about the rating of singapore and how good it is, anyways we are staying in the philippines now. Thank you for having a great time with us.
There are a lot of videos on RU-vid on "Singapore Success", but many are poorly or superficially researched and are simply "cookie cutter" clickbait leveraging on interest in Singapore, and hoping to make some money from the RU-vid algorithm. This video is made by someone who has lived here (since 2005) and have experienced firsthand the efficiency of Singapore. Where other clickbait videos might rattle off Personal Income Tax interest rates, here you have personal experience and detailed examples of what it means, and how efficient our income tax filing is. (Compared to the US which apparently takes DAYS to complete and file!). Paying our leaders well, also means that other public officials down the line can also be paid what they are worth. Take the US, where Justice Clarence Thomas had complained in the past that the job doesn't pay well. So Harlan Crow gave him gifts and holidays, and trips on his private plane, and Thomas stayed as Supreme Court Justice and made decisions that would please his benefactor. I was looking for a video like this. Thank you.
@SteveSentosa maybe you are right. I always paid more attention to my teachers than what they said, females, of course. But, really, there were a lot of expensive cars on that road. Have a great life...
@@johnbethea4505 ok I'll summarise for you (plus I've got first hand experience). Public transport is excellent; train, bus & even taxi is cheap compared to other developed countries. So the proletariat in most instances dont actually need a personal automobile.
@SteveSentosa Yes, public transportation is nice for most people in large cities. I now live in a small country town and have stayed in big cities while in service. To be trueful, I don't like the rat race of large places.
