Singapore, an island and city-state south of Malaysia, is a global financial center with a tropical climate and a multicultural population. In the colonial center of the city lies the Pandang, which has been used as a cricket ground since the 1830s and is now surrounded by magnificent buildings such as the town hall with its 18 Corinthian columns. In the Chinese quarter of Chinatown from around 1820 is the red and gold Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, which is said to contain a tooth of the Buddha.

Im kolonialzeitlichen Zentrum der Stadt liegt der Pandang, der seit den 1830er-Jahren als Cricket-Platz genutzt wurde und heute von prachtvollen Gebäuden wie dem Rathaus mit seinen 18 korinthischen Säulen umgeben ist. Im chinesischen Viertel Chinatown von ca. 1820 liegt der rot-goldene Buddha Tooth Relic Tempel, in dem sich ein Zahn Buddhas befinden soll.
