@Discovery Walking Tours TV _ Muahahahaha! 🤣 _No lah you are not fat leh. In fact I saw your Insta pic. Very handsome and tough looking what_Aiyah don't pressure yourself lor, random locations will do just fine.Everybody loves a mystery lor_
Haven't been in the area since my NS days 😂 sort of lah. Got go the sports centre to play badminton once but otherwise can say I "never" been here before especially take bus to changi village area for fast craft to Tekong
@@AmbientWalking Sorry for your loss. I think you did mention it from another comment. You did the sea burial from one of the kelongs off Pasir Ris Beach?
Hello Alan, thank you for all your nice videos, I hope you are well and your family. I learned that Chihuly glass exhibit are all over Singapore, especially at the Garden by the Bay I hope you will find time to video the said exhibit, please do, much appreciated. Stay well as always. .Disco must be getting bigger.
Thanks for highlighting this exhibit. Yes it will be on display at Gardens By the Bay from 1st May to August. Got to pay to see the exhibit though 😂 hope its not too pricey. Will definitely consider visiting
Yes, I bet it is pricey. Sorry I forgot about that. Chihuly's exhibits in Chicago was free a decade ago , hopefully Singapore will consider that this is the season for economic recovery. Hairanto Diman from Big Story mentioned that the the coupon can be used in the said exhibit. Therefore, it must be pricey. Don't worry about it , Alan. Thank you
Hello Allen, When you fish in Singapore do you need a permit ? & what you catch can you keep to cook & what's the fish mainly caught There. Thanks. Daz.
😅 I might not be the right person to ask. I never done fishing before. But as far as I understand, in public areas (reservoirs, lakes etc) there are only certain areas that allow fishing. For the Pasir Ris lake, I think you will need to pay to be allowed to fish.
@@DiscoveryWalkingToursTV Thanks for your reply it looks so pleasant to sit There throw a line in the lake you just don't imagine that in the hustle & bustle of Singapore 😃👍. We have limits here & permits where it's be over FISHED.
@@dazza2024 Yeah I can imagine if too many people decide to come over and over fish in the area. Perhaps this 2 articles may interest you: www.channelnewsasia.com/news/singapore/fishing-catch-and-release-sustainable-bedok-jetty-stingray-13050692 nparks.gov.sg/activities/fun-and-recreation/fishing

Thanks for the suggestion. Will put it up for a vote next week to see if people are keen on it. Will likely make it a cycling ride as its quite a fair distance
@@DiscoveryWalkingToursTV Used to be. Stayed there on my 1st year, moved to Jurong East then Farrer Park. Different places, different things to enjoy :) I can see you walked quite a distance there 😯. Made me wonder if you did it in one take 😶🥴. Thanks for the efforts in producing good quality videos. I've subscribed to some other walking tour channels too, but honestly I still enjoy yours the best.
@@BlueWithoutBiu Thanks Zhan Zhan 😄 Always glad to hear from you and for you to share your stories. For Jurong East, did you stay in the Yuhua area? I did consider going back there to film again. And Farrer Park is on the cards. always wanted to walk closer to the Pek Kio area. Yeah the Pasir Ris walk is done in one take. In fact, all my walks are all filmed in one take. Sometimes I will jumpcut a scene if I think there is not much to see to shorten the video length.
@@DiscoveryWalkingToursTV Thank you for always listening to and taking your audience opinion into considerations too! ^^ I didn't even remember Pasir Ris to be like this. Like, it's so much nicer and have more places to go to now. Back when I was there, there's only the White Sands Mall, I guess.. Anyway, I forgot where Yuhua area is. But I used to live near the MRT, Jurong East St. 13. There was an old, private apartment there ^^ Ah Farrer Park, will wait for that one ^^ Tbh, I may not even notice even there's any jumpcut scene. I was just surprised that you can really walk a lot.. in a single day. :o
@@BlueWithoutBiu Yuhua would be the north of Jurong East Street 13. There is a town centre and hawker centre over there. I see if I can walk Farrer Park this weekend.

@@thegrandmelati9797 Thanks for the good suggestion. I did thought of it before but I believe there are other channels that are doing a good job of sharing Singapore's food places. I will just stick to the locations walks around Singapore 😄
@@DiscoveryWalkingToursTV Yeah I lived closer to Elias (im pretty sure I stayed in Pasir Ris Drive 4 haha). Thanks for all the relaxing videos you put out, they help me study well :D
Lol.. @7:03 the stairs was just a few steps away! Still decided to walk the slope 🤣 you are basically me. Lol Wah... I miss the daily early morning walks in that park.
@@DiscoveryWalkingToursTV 6:57 I just noticed your reply! 😅 update!... maybe it's just not us who walk down that slope... because.. That stairs was upgraded😂. There is now a long stretch of railings connecting the stairs throughout the walkway 😂 nobody can walk through the greenery to get down for sure😅
