I am so thankful I have come across your channel. The first time I went to Singapore was 10 years ago, then 6 years after that. Because of you, I get to "visit" some places in Singapore (that I have never seen yet) without leaving my home. Singapore will always have a special place in my heart, and hopefully, once the world heals, I will get to visit again...

Ironically as it may sound, I will always patronise this Chinese Chicken Rice stall sandwiched among all other shops when it comes to chicken in Tekka (SGD 3 as of late 2019) run by a pair of eldery couple. Their chilly paste is something worth dying for and I am not exaggerating. It suits my tastebuds. Another dish I like is Alauddin Bryinani. Looks closed in this Vlog. Again wonderful sunset walk. It has been more than a year not been to Singapore. Good job Sir 😄
Any idea what's the name of the chicken rice stall? Will make an effort to give it a try the next time I'm there. Yeah allauddin briyani is really good. One of my favourites to eat at tekka
If I can recall, it is Tian Yuan Hainanese Chicken Rice. Forgive me if I got it wrong. It was SGD 3 a plate back then in late 2019. The stall is in front of the big open air dining area (minus the birds 😆) and it is beside a Pakistani Punjabi stall selling Punjabi food (as of 2019), Sir .

Wow. This looks like it’s recorded in a whole different country. It’s as if Eastern Europe was dropped in the middle of Singapore somewhere. How close is this too the main city?
It's quite close. Maybe about 15 minutes from the city centre. This part of Singapore can be traced back to our colonial days under the British when Singapore was founded.

When showing all this places.. Please sir.. You can show the name of the road which you are going through.. Because your video only showing all the lanes and the shops only.. So if when moving around some places.. The way you move to next road than to the shops area.. We can know which road is going to which place.. And shops.. For those are new people going to this place in tekka.. Another way of calling this place is seragoon road.. Or little India.. Is what they call this place it is a big surrounding area that can confuse.. So many lanes and roads are joining in each place got a sign board to show the name of each road.. More easier for people to know ...thank you very much sir for sharing this message..
Will try my best. My instinct is always to walk towards places with activity so I rarely look out for street signs. Will do my best to do an overview map on the beginning in my future walks and rides so you will have an "idea" where things are at
@@DiscoveryWalkingToursTV Atually I am staying in Singapore.. So just my opinion to let new comers to know the places more better.. For just the places is must be shown in with sign boards are better for people to know better than showing the shops and all the lane only.. I have seen there is a sign board of the road in each corner of all the roads.. Now in Singapore there is a lot of changes in tekka and all around the places.. So the route you show is.. Very nice to watch.. And if you show in each corner of the name of the road.. Of the places.. Every one will be more confident where they want to go.. Sorry if I have told something wrong which.. It is your concern how you want to do.. This video.. Any way thank you very much sir for sharing this message..
