RE The Hellions. You had right to speak to the girls first, complain to the parents second, and if that didn't work, you speak to the flight attendants! My 38 year old son has been flying since he was 12 days old, and he did cry for about 15 minutes into his first flight. Rude behavior has never been tolerated in my house.

Ive always wondered.....1.5 hour stop in an international airport - is that enough time for them to transfer baggage? Personally I dont give a shit about my luggage..... but my Wife would go ape shit if it were lost

On our latest trip from Seattle to Singapore we had a 1.5 hour layover before boarding our flight to Phuket. We landed late and had less than an hour to catch our next flight. We made the flight but our luggage did not. Singapore Air was very helpful, though. They actually delivered our luggage to our home the next morning. I always tried to keep any super important (plus a change of undies) in my carry on just in case.

For premium economy the lowest it goes is $800-1000 $863 if combined with MNL connection from Singapore Changi. Once you land in Singapore there is a connecting flight directly to Manila SQ918. Impressive trip report and some of the passengers in business class are MNL🇵🇭 bound with a parcel box

I’ve just flown back from Singapore to London in business class on a 777 300er and the foot cave as you call it isn’t great…..it’s uncomfortable as you have to sleep at an angle…..wish there would put the otterman foot space back! Had the same seat going to Singapore on an a380 same problem…the footwell as I call it just let the whole seat experience down. Bring back the otterman footwell back sia. Good video 👍🏻 Ps i don’t know why you went past your destination when they could of landed in Thailand and saved some fuel and time.

Only a few of us on that flight were headed on to Phuket, the rest… their final destination was Singapore or other connecting flights. I don’t mind the foot cave so much but since they fold down their seats for the bed it’s just not thick enough. I liked Japan Air’s lie flat seats better.

Yeah, Phuket flight was just oversize seats. Service was still good on that flight but it was really short (1 1/2 hours maybe?).

If you are in the bulkhead row your seats do not have that weird cubby hole for your feet. Overall nice video. Should have complained about the noise from other passengers to a flight attendant.

Wow, i have never heard of an airline offering 60%, business class seats and 40% premium economy class. That is quite unusual, its always the other way round.

It’s even more unusual there are zero regular economy seats (or first class). They have a similar flight out of JFK, that one might have all classes. Similar flight time and both out of the same area. I think the JFK one might actually use the Airbus 380.

Actually there should be more premium econ seats, as they are dense in configuration. Business is popular in long routes on these 😅

We’ve always saved up points from travel credit cards, probably wouldn’t splurge if we had to pay full price. You do get spoiled, though, especially the lay flat seats.

@@KhakiShorts u r flying 19hrs to get Singapore. I think worth it for extra. For me Sydney to bkk 9hrs. Hopefully i can retire in Thailand in few years. Love ur video. I did watch few of those including cost of living
