its not over rated.. maybe tian tian chicken rice is over rated.. but even still its decent food... there are plenty of local and authentic options at maxwel.... its just that it has become a tourist spot..... Just because somewhere is popular and you feel you know better doesnt make a place "over-rated".
Yeah, I can imagine that tiantian might be overhyped. It looks like she was really just focusing on that one stall instead of the whole food court. There are plenty of great options to try!
I recently enjoyed the pandan waffle, appam, and mie goreng, and they were all great. The trinks I tried were refreshing, too. There are plenty of other stalls that looked tasty, and I’m looking forward to trying more on my next visit! :)
Did you both go over ann Siang hill to Amoy street hawker centre? Go back Chinatown hawker centre too? Then go Hong lim hawker centre? Walk along boat quay Clarke quay Robertson quay to Zion hawker centre? Go tekka hawker at little India? Can go bendemeer hawker then to old airport hawker. No need to touristy ones at east coast or gardens by the bay or lau pa sat although there's bthe glamour atmosphere
