As a singaporean im really concerned especially for the future of my children, i won't deny the facts that pap governance had brought singapore to the world map but after what had been built by the people for the sake of this country it seems like our government had been running this country like a corporate company where money is everything...where all aspects of life here in spore is being controlled & regulated...where working class people like myself & other hardworking singaporeans are losing our rights to live like a normal human as we are striving to make enough money to pay & pay & pay...we are losing more human time due to work, assignments & whatsoever...i no longer see the word work life balance projecting in singaporeans life anymore..."accountability" within our government?!...preparing myself to vote them out again...really hope the majority of singaporeans start to wake up & stand up for what is right for the betterment of our children's future...we can only prayed that god gives us all the strenght to vote for change & to bring down tyranny! Demi bangsa & negara...MAJULAH!

I saw Mr Lim twice at People’s Park Centre Basement food court ordering food and ate alone. No air and humble person. Thats what we need as a leader whom understand local elderly and people in our Everyday life. Unlike those puppies whom only know how to suck our $$ and pretend caring for us. I salute Mr Lim for your sacrifices and all the best in the upcoming election.

Singaporeans actually shoot their own feet when they gave the PAP a resounding win in the last election. We should learn from this mistake. All the opposition must get together with a common goal i.e. to kick out PAP Government! "Pigs can fly" if they are willing to check on their own failures, despite the huge salaries and nepotism, cronyism, etc. All Singaporeans must vote PAP out. It cannot be worse with the opposition! If PAP voted out, CPF monies returned immediately! Utilities bill reduced, and no increase in GST! Personal income tax reduced!
The PAP always set up 'No Finger Pointing' Committee of Inquiries when things go wrong. Question is who would then be responsible for anything that goes wrong? Which leadership is then accountable for any crisis or problem that pops up?
Gan Kim Yong should be sacked immediately by PM Lee so that the latter can account to the Singapore public. If not I think PAP will not continue their winning streak in the coming GE.

A mismatched role, no idea of latent defects, no anticipation of breaches, can’t forward plan and thus accountability and shame is marginalised by the ignorance of all in the team. Singaporean must support Lim Tean for parliament. Vote PAP out or your future will be hammered by higher taxes GST. The silent vote can cause the down fall of PAP. Singaporean do not have to attend every gathering but listen hard and be wise when voting.
But this GE which of us are focussing our eyeballs on the ballot box? Who are the volunteers? There is a reason why volunteers exist. How can the process of securing the integrity be improved if at all it can be improved? I ask because I don't know how the process is like. For example, from the moment the votes are casted at void decks, what happened to the boxes? Is there a volunteer whose eyeballs never lose sight of the box all the way till the time the votes have been counted? Can we have live video streaming of the ballot boxes? This way we can take turns monitoring the boxes. We only draw a cross on the ballot paper. Is this good enough?

Little goodies of top up funds in those ‘can see but cannot touch’ Medisave accounts have been distributed and 1st round of GST vouchers announced, what’s next? LKY & May Day would probably be yet another round of celebrations. The territorial boundary would be redrawn and probably restrictions to the qualifications of candidates....... Ai yah! Speaker of Parliament is a yes-man , so does his precedessor , who already become President thru unfair means.. Speaker Of Parliament don't dare to silence PM and his cabinet. John Bercow is trying to do his job as Speaker, he once told PM David Cameron to keep quiet and sit down. Now, John Bercow suffered a consequence - PM Theresa May don't recommend him to be member of House of Lords, where he is supposed to hold the title, Baron. Remember Josephine Teo statement-Politics in Singapore is not for everyone, you have to be invited. What kind of nonsense is that? This is not Communist country like China, or North Korea where Politburo there invite people who are loyal to the ruling party to be cadre members where they can sit on rubber stamp Parliament. Halimah don't check on reserve or CPF . she has to say yes to everything Cabinet said. There is no check and balance in Singapore.
Let us not argue now whether PAP is good or bad for Singapore, or Opposition is good or bad for Singapore. Come next Saturday morning we will all know who and what exactly the voters want. Anyway, I have a belief again that many PAP bashers and or many Opposition supporters exist in such mode of discussions will vote for PAP eventually, because the effect of NIMB will take precedence over courage and sincerity. Well, PAP better wake up! The country's top leadership has to have the vision and courage to do the right things in order to take the country forward. This comfortable majority that PAP currently enjoys could vaporise overnight. Appointing Guardians of our institutions who also happened to be family members and friends of those whom they are supposed to supervise are indeed too close for comfort. More public discourse should be undertaken to address those valid concerns. Act quickly to defend the integrity of our institutions and public office, the price of political expediency is simply to big for Singapore to pay!

Singapore has imported 20,000 new immigrants each year. In the past 10 years, there are more than 200,000 new immigrants reside in Singapore, why the TFR drops to 1.12 from 1.16 ? If new immigrants refused to give birth, what is the point of getting more new immigrants to create more social fault lines and social divisions to local multi racial communities ? Not to forget, when these infertile new immigrants ( foreign talents ) aged, young Singaporeans will have to subsidize their elderly medical needs which does not make sense at all. Many new immigrants children do not serve NS at all, there is no reason to compel Singaporeans to serve NS to protect foreigners and foreign talents lives and assets.
