It's very expensive in Singapore. $79 for about 1 min of flight time. $99 for 2 flights in the same day. I would try it if it's cheaper.

I tried out this music for a change. Use it to replace the piped in music when the wind tunnel stopped blowing in between jumps. Jim, thanks for the feedback. I shall use safer music next time.

@@LEILAARTSPACE Leila, I just noticed your reply 7 months after you have posted. I have done static-line parachuting 4 times when I was a teenager. Jumping off airplanes at 3000 feet with the chutes deployed by the static lines. It was exhilarating.

@@LEILAARTSPACE I have had many memorable adventures in my life. Some of these are Scuba diving (with oxygen tank), mountain climbing, Great Wall Trekking (made 4 videos on CM Chen channel) and Humanitarian Relief in Indonesia (4 videos on CM Chen). I am old but still active now. Need to watch more of Simple's videos to slow me down.

This music is from RU-vid audio library. I used it to replace the piped in music playing when the wind tunnel was switched off in-between flights. Most of my videos have more than a thousand views. Seems like this iFly video is not interesting to viewers. Fyi, I did 4 static line jumps from Cessna planes during my younger days. The line which is hooked to the plane will pull out and deploy the parachute as I jumped out from the plane. This is similar to the military jumps. It's called Sports Parachuting.

@@SingaporeCityWalks Understand the rationale for using music, like some of your viewers, I too prefer ambient sounds and the monetisation going to you since you are the creator, but whenever you feel like using music, please do too, like the one which you have done, I really enjoyed that video! Seems like most of your viewers enjoy your videos without music though. Video views have their ups and downs, I guess. I'm curious, why did you start this channel when you already have the other one? By the way, I have replied to some of your earlier comments, but I also think YT did not inform you, or vice versa. Some of my comments went missing too I realised. Wah I cannot, I have acrophobia, and also motion sickness. I vomited on ship from Macau to HK, nearly fainted during a coach ride at Alishan Taiwan. This iSky should be easy for u :p

@@simplehomebody Nearly all my viewers prefer ambient sounds over music. However, I will use music whenever I feel it's necessary - for example, to remind myself of the occasion, as nice music touches me. My latest video on Dragon Boats has no music except for the intro and conclusion. There's lot's of wind noise which may make my viewers turn off the volume. My other channel was very successful till Covid-19 came and stopped all activities. I started making the Lockdown vlog which was successful in the beginning but was losing viewers as Covid stayed and became an everyday thing. So I started the walking channel, where I could go out, walk alone and make videos that people might watch. As there were already so many walking tour channels in Singapore, I gave myself 2 years to hit 1k subscribers. Thanks to my many viewers, I hit the 1K subs in under 4 months. Next month, Jun 25th will be my SG City Walk's 1st anniversary. I will be with my wife on a self-drive tour at the Great Ocean Road in Melbourne on that day. I will be in Bangkok and Melbourne in June (holidays) and in Bangkok again in July (work trip). Hope to catch up with my videos while not neglecting my other half. My CM channel has 7 million-views videos and I hope to revive it when Singapore is back to normal. It's only possible to achieve million views videos if we have international audiences. My Thaipusam, Panguni Uthiram, Kuda Kepang, Kite Festivals, Aerial displays, Lion dance competition videos have a wide appeal. Hope my viewers have not forgotten me.

It's expensive. Wish that I can afford it. Maybe do it in KL when I am there. It's cheaper there.

Maria, I used this music to replace the piped in music which was played each time the wind tunnel stopped blowing. There will be music anyway. I rather that the monetisation come to me than go to the piped in music. Thanks for your feedback. I shall not use music as much as I can in the future as I agree that the ambient sounds is the best for walking tour videos.

@@SingaporeCityWalks It is tricky when there is music around where you are recording. Replacing it seems like a sensible approach and won't affect the end result too much.

Fyi, I had exited airplanes 4 times during my younger days. We had Sports Parachuting in Singapore in the old days, but not anymore.

Ticket price is S$79 for locals who are beginners. The experience is 1.5 hrs. This includes, training, use of jumpsuits, helmet, goggles & ear plugs. The actual jump is 45 secs as I was told. You can pay S$99 for 2 jumps on the same day.
