Tong Kee 东记鸡饭 has long history for the 海南白鸡，right? Their fried chicken looks quite dry in your video, but the white chicken looks juicy hanging there. Are they now using Spring chicken? The chicken looks smaller in size. Bigger chickens actually taste more yummy for 海南白鸡。还有，老板不是很老，却看到白发很多。很奇怪。 I don't really like fried chicken. I will surely go for the Hainan steamed chicken when I return to Singapore in October. 👍👏Thank you PiggyPuggy for another funny video🥰. I think the Malay lady felt excited and very chirpy hahaha non stop advertising her food 😛😅 Vegetarian lontong with special chillies 😂

Yeah.. Tong Kee has been an institution for chicken rice. It’s been there since I was a kid visiting the demolished old hawker site. Well.. we don’t have any imports of fresh chickens since Malaysia 🇲🇾 decided there wasn’t enough chickens for themselves 😂 So the whole Singapore is now having frozen shrivelled malnourished chickens that lack in quality 😝 praying for the day fresh chickens 🐔 are available again. The Malay food stall owner full of energy.. haha.. directing where to focus at every step of the way.. very entertaining and yet chaotic for me to film.. editing practically took magic to remove all the camera shakes all over the place 😅😅😅

@@Piggypuggy you are an expert in food and editing. Great job. Honestly I checked NTUC Fairprice whole chicken 1 kg and it is priced at SGD15.50 almost 3 times more than the fresh chicken in Philippines. In Philippines it's around SGD5 to 6 only. I guess I have made the right choice residing here with fresh and cheap abundant foods available all the time, especially fresh fish. May plan to fly back to PH in April next year depending on situation. It's a more relaxing and healthier lifestyle here in PH in my opinion and based on my 5 years lifestyle here.

This video the spotlight should be the queens town lontong stall. The serunding omg and their portion quite generous. Hope it’s not bcos u r filming haha. The lady is very nice. Haha come come. I also want to n try one of these day.

Tong kee offer nice, delicious n not expensive roasted n steam chicken, pork n char siew. It open 5-6 days a week for lunch n dinner. Unlike some others stalls which open as they like.. HDB shld take back those those that r not serious in doing. Business give to Malaysian who r better cooks.

Thank you for this episode. I was there on Tuesday lunch time. The corner Chinese Roasted meat rice was so long Q. By the way, what is the drink that the lady coffee stall owner was preparing? Look like medicated drink from Chinese Medical hall. haha.

Thanks for watching.. Wah you went earlier than me by 2 days. that’s Hojicha Japanese tea Latte.. haha I also needed to ask her again. Saw the price list. Was $4. As for that roast pork rice.. they are the famous chicken rice at this original site in Margaret drive that was demolished about 15 years back

Glad to see the chirpy Queenstown long ton ladies have slightly bigger stall and are still chirpy, I will miss the Uncle who made the popish skins and the wonderful old school dry goods stall with the biscuit tins and packaged lollies from Tanglin though I hope they are nearby

Mostly lousy food except e malay lontong, e featured chicken rice stall. Till now ,i dont see any nice Chap chai rice stalls. Mostly selling chicken rice,Western food n a no of malay stalls. Shld tender to outside food caterer who can cook delicious food. Most of e food stallholders shifted fr TH do not offer nice food, some only operate a few hours or not open everyday.

Older folks laa.. those hawkers from TH are getting of age.. still gotta thank them for dedicating their lives to feed us over the generations.. having said that.. many stalls are still vacant.. waiting for new blood to take up. But most likely will be filled by young entrepreneurs.. those who replicate their same biz in every hawker. That sadly doesn’t make it unique and interesting anymore

Are all the food video showing are organic dishes? As organic dishes are tasteless and no much sweetness. Should use approved industrial food chemical to enhance the flavor of organic dishes. The end product still go one place.

That’s what the sign says 😅 Coz we don’t have fresh chickens now.. Only frozen ones.. or those Indonesia ones. Suddenly created chaos for all chicken rice stall owners.. gotta recalibrate how to cook the diff chicken available to them

usually i dont even bother talking to them , just ordered only , recently order chicken rice, quite famous one , i see 4.50 price there , std just order never say price, knn the old man kpkb , i pay just walk away , black listed, lol , no food in the world is worth when serve with bad attitude....
