Singapore. One of the smallest countries in the world.
One of the most technologically advanced governments on the planet.
While innovating every day, the state faces a growing problem of hunger. Today we take a look at how Singapore plans to implement an ambitious plan to create high-tech futuristic farms to address the impending crisis.
Back in 1965, Singapore declared its independence. At that time, the population of the islands was very small. The country was producing enough food, buying only a few types of food abroad. In 1984, it was decided to abandon this policy - officials decided that it was better to focus on the technological development of the state and buy food from neighbors. This led to the country's economic and technological leap. Every year, the small state attracted more and more foreign investors with its privileges and educated population, and they, in turn, opened factories, offices, and research centers.
