Songs like this coloured our childhood. As a grownup, I once ate at Chinese restaurant with some friends, while classic chinese songs are playing in the background. My friend found it disturbing as we couldn't have a conversation, asked the proprietor to swith it off. Later we found the environment is not as authentic as the food My friend end up asking the proprietor to play the song again and where he can purchase the cassette! 😂
Thank you to lvlalaysiaboleh. It really brings great childhood memories in the 60's with my late dad. We used to have one copy but lost years ago. Thanks for uploading..
i'd like to see the corresponding video - - sped-up footage of shan kuan liu yun dashing through the streets of '64 singapore, being chased by hundreds of screaming teenage girls.
The singing in "Can't Buy Me Love" is ok. The singing in "I Saw Her Standing There" is TERRIBLE! Off key, wrong voice register, and the sound of one trying to reach certain notes they clearly cannot just makes you cringe.
