Finally sharing our first ever out of the country trip to Singapore and Malaysia last November 18-26, 2023 with you guys. This was so much fun and tiring!! My favorite moments were when we visited the Universal Studios Singapore booked via Klook on our first actual day, going to Malaysia by bus booked with Easybook, our anniversary date with amazing view of Kuala Lumpur at Fly Me to KL @ Studio 109 Regalia Suite, eating Cendol for the first time, discovering hawker centers(!!), and roaming around and getting lost in the sim city that is Singapore. Travel Itinerary 🌏
Day 1: SG arrival
Day 2: Universal Studios SG 2023
Day 3: exploring Punggol / Waterway Point Mall
Day 4: SG to KL (shop at Sunway Putra Mall!)
Day 5: Batu Cave, Midway Valley Mall (best mall as locals say!), dinner with amazing Kuala Lumpur city views at Fly Me To KL!
Day 6: last min shopping, going back to SG!
Day 7: checking in at Oxford Hotel Singapore in Bugis with room tour of their affordable room!, eating at Hawker Centres, going to Skyline Luge in Sentosa Island plus Beach Station!
Day 8: eating hainanese chicken and Cendol at Old Chamoy in Chinatown Complex! Going to Haji Lane and doing self shoot studio! Going to Flowerdome at Gardens by the Bay and Marina Bay Sands ✨✨
Day 9: visiting the super cute library @ Orchard ! Going back to Jewel for flight back home
Here’s some more travel guide to Singapore and Malaysia!
• MNL ✈️ SG - flight with Cebu Pacific (have never had any bad experience with them despite the issues we hear about them!)
• SG 🚌 KL & vice versa - bus booked via Easy Book (dont worry about the negative reviews in their app because we had a very pleasant experience w them! Just buckle up for the long 6 hour ride of your life 😁)
💵 For both SG and KL, most of shops and transpo accept card payment (both cc and debit!) you can also use your gcash card! For SG, make sure to buy EZ link card via Klook, so you can just put money there for your transpo used in Buses or Trains! While for KL, we only got to ride their cab (download Grab app!) and paid by cash. They said exchange rates are better at the destination country and so that’s what we did! Money changers are everywhere in SG so that’s a plus. We changed our money there for KL!
📲 For wifi / mobile data, we bought our e-sim from Klook!! There’s also a lot of activities and necessities you can get from Klook so I highly reco for your travels.
Tips for your out of the country trip! 💞
• ask locals for the best places and restaurants to eat at!
• relax, there’s no call time!
• bring water jugs in USS since refilling stations are everywhere
• capture memories! Don’t be shy, they don’t know you anyway 😉
