Oh I've just spent a frustrating first sew on my new Fashion Mate. Now I've watched your excellent instructions, I'm going to try again and I'm much more confident I'll get it right. Thanks again!!!
I set it up with this instruction and now it works like a dream. Perhaps I should volunteer to be Singer's numpty tester. I can do everything wrong! I wanted the Fashion Mate so much, and it's great!
Great video. Wish there was a troubleshooting video. After changing the needle as instructed, my needle threader will no longer work. It gets stuck on the needle and does not thread into the eye of the needle. I’ve watched several other videos with no solution. Readjusted and changed my needles several times. Made sure the needle is all the way up and the press down. Still not working. This is the first time using the machine.
I want buy machine ....can you please tell me which machine is very useful Am very confused between sewing machine fm 3333 as compared to janome allure automatic zig-zag electric sewing machine....my budget is 13000
Hi, we recommend visiting your machine's manual for guidance on this: manuals.singer.com/Manuals/RetrievePDF/755 You may also give our Customer Care team a call at 1-800-474-6437 so they can assist you further. Thanks! -SR
Is there a way to adjust the bobbin thread tension? It always pulls the top threat too far so that it creates little holes in my fabric and is visible on the underside. I’ve tried adjusting with the tension wheel but that doesn’t do anything
Bought the fashion mate 3333 for my wife and she loves it apart from the auto thread feature doesn't seem to work. She has watched the tutorial but no matter the thread it just won't go thtough the needle and so she has to do it the "old fashioned way" is this a common problem?

Hi Renee! Yes, there is a handle on the top of the machine. And it weighs 14 lbs. For more information, please visit: www.singer.com/Fashion-Mate-3333-Sewing-Machine/. Thank you! -TB
Because this sewing machine model does not have a width adjust dial, when sewing on buttons how do you adjust the width to cover the button hole eyes? Thanks.
Hi Helen! This machine can adjust width on the zig zag stitch which is used for applying a button by machine. This machine comes with a button foot as well. Page 24 of the owners manual gives step by step instructions. I hope this helps. Thanks! -TB

Hi! There are stitches that will mimic a flatlock, overlock, normally those are done with a serger. A different type of machine. There are a couple of stitches that you can use with smocking and there is a stitch that will mimic a pico edge. For the pico edge, I would recommend a rolled edge foot. Thank you! -TB
