suggestions....hand crank your needle and make sure its aligned correctly with the hole.....make sure that all bits that your needle is attached to is in the correct position when going up and down and your needle is pushed up the correct amount and facing the right way front or side and this will be in your book..that there is no lint or cotton. If you are sure that the machine is not at fault then let the machine pull your fabric through at its own pace......have you got the correct size needle for your machine and some machines do not like cheap needles...i use smetz( wrong spelling)Other than these suggestions I have no clue.....i would troubleshoot all these issues first....hope this helps....
Hi Busy Bee I am new subscriber!! Could you show us taking the Singer Tradition 2250 apart? I went as far as removing all the screws, etc but was not sure how to deal with latches inside and did not want to damage plastic pulling it apart. Really want to oil the critical areas around engine so need to learn to remove outer cover! Can you help dear? Thank you, lovely.
