Interesting, I remember growing up my mom would always use her Singer sewing machine to make all my clothes. We would go to TG&Y, or Montgomery Wards to get the patterns that came in white envelope packaging and she would stay up hours to make me shirts and pants to wear for school. I remember kids making fun of me for not wearing the fashion clothes that were in style but I didn’t mind cause I new how special the clothes I had on ment to me. Its interesting how these sewing machines have become so sophisticated now, they do so much more pattern sewing and some even do embroidery. Great fix for those special talented people who have such a skill and wonderful machine. 👍🏽
Thank you, this confirmed what we found when we were getting an error code 16 on our Singer Modern Quilter. One question though: is it normal for the machine to refuse to turn on again after this error? We found it would turn on again after waiting 5-10 minutes. Is there a way to reset it or do we just have to wait? If you really want to help us out, can you suggest why we might be getting this error repeatedly? We're using 30 weight machine embroidery thread with a walking foot. The machine should be able to cope with that, shouldn't it? Maybe we need to sew slowly with heavier thread. Could the bobbin tension need adjusting? It's always pulling through to the back. Would that cause it to get tangled too? Thanks!
Hi, thanks for the explanation, I would like you help me with more explanation regarding my problem. Error code 01 C as on the control panel; Machine is locked. I barely used it after I bought it, it was parked for close to 2yrs. The bobbin area is clean but it shows the same error. Can you help me? please.
