This whole episode was people being selfish and doing something bad. Will and Sue bully Beiste, Tina cheats, Artie is selfish ignoring Tina, Quinn throws Santana her friend under the bus for head Cheerio, Santana physically attacks Quinn and Sue gets Brittany to say Bieste molested her. All did as bad if not worse than Rachel, whose intentions were only to have he miss an audition, not see her get hurt. Yes, Rachel was wrong, but unlike the others, she actually apologized. Sorry, but in general terms some fans only holding one of these folks accountable for their selfish action throughout the yearsalways gets me.

What I like about Rachel in episodes like this one is how much she struggles with who she is and what an awful person she can sometimes be. I very much share that experience of having good intentions generally but getting clouded by my selfishness and fucking up and then feeling awful because of what you did but also because you can tell it wasn't a mistake, it was a choice you made that came from that shitty corner within you that you hate you have but it's just there and you have to learn how to live with it. In that way, she's a very real character to me, despite the ridiculousness that may surround her sometimes 😂
